I love colour… bright, vibrant colours make me happy and give me energy to go about my busy life. Colours make me want to take photos and create beautiful things. Colours make me want to play. I love the colours of Stacy’s line of cardstock. 🙂

  2. KSDerby says:

I love the calming feeling from grays, browns, some purples and oranges (not together). Thank you for the great Layouts. It is interesting how many of the designers gravitated toward blues.

  3. tammy k says:

for me, colors create the “mood”…especially true in scrapping 🙂

  4. Sherrin W says:

Colour is the difference for me. I love most colours as long as they are big colours! People shouldn’t be afraid of colour. Any shade of purple makes me smile – all my scrap bags are purple and I have even been known to purchase a scrap tool simply because it is purple 🙂 In my books – you can never have enough of a colour you love!

Stacy – your love for colour is awesome and inspiring!!

  5. I think colors, like music, have a way of influencing my mood. Certain songs can have me doing the gitterbug or crying in my soup … same thing with colors. Blues and greens make me mellow and thoughtful, whereas reds and oranges make me smile out loud! And don’t even get me started on purple (grin).

  6. Angela Weinzierl says:

Color makes me feel. It can make me happy or sad, excited or melancholy. It energizes me and that all translates to the mood of my layouts.

  7. I LOVE color. It makes me so happy and really warms my spirits. I love fuschia and teal and lime green… they make me so happy. 🙂
Thanks for the chance to win!

  8. Joyce says:

I just love how color really can set the mood, wether in a room, or the beautiful fall trees.

I love how the embossing shows up so well with coordination papers. So cool!

  9. Patchi says:

I use a lot of color in my LOs because I love the fun and playfulness they inspire. I use bright colors in my home decor because they just make people happy. And there is nothing better to wearing bright and flashy clothes on a rainy day to fight off the gloom!

  10. Maria says:

Color is so important to me that I have a hard time seeing past it – the paintings I love, the cars I love, the layouts I love are all about COLOR more than design. I’ve bought fabric even though I don’t sew because I love the color so much! I try to surround myself with happy colors because they make a big difference to my mood and make me smile. (:

  11. Lori N. says:

Color provokes so many emotions, I am constantly inspired by color! Of course I have my favorites but I’m not afraid to use all colors. I love the projects displayed here, now I REALLY want some of this Stacy Julian line! Kudos to everyone for their great work!

  12. Catherine O. says:

Colors just speak to me…there is such emotion in every color and depending on my mood, the right color can change everything!

  13. Khristen F. says:

I choose colors based on my mood around my home/in my life. In my albums, however, I let the photo dictate the color. What is the mood of the picture? I will try to convey that in the overall layout with color. What colors are in the picture? I love things to NOT clash, so I always am mindful of the colors within the photo as well. Thanks for the chance to win!

color means sooo much to me. It affects my mood, the colors in home seem to make a calm or relaxing feeling depending on the color. 16. Donna says:

For me color is one of the most important aspects of anything I’m creating. I think color lays out the tone of page- bright colors usually mean something happy, playful upbeat whereas softer, muted tones can indicate something a bit more peaceful or quiet. I love color!!

  17. Amelia says:

Color influences my emotions directly – lately I am super into fall colors (ok maybe I am into the ALL the time!) and they help me feel very grounded and peaceful. I love the blessing of being able to SEE!! 🙂

  19. KimR says:

I am inspired by color everywhere! Soft, calming colors; bright, fun colors and everything in between! Seriously, I bought a pair of Apple green cordoroys, just because they made me smile to look at them! And guess what, everytime I wear them–I smile all over again! Love that color lately…. It is in my scraproom–on my scrappages…even my water bottle is that color!

I chose a yellow for my scraproom because I wanted the bright, happy feeling in my creative space. Accents in–Apple green and red…gives it a fun whimsical feel!

I don’t rule any colors out when creating–because you never know what color will perfectly convey the message you want! Okay—long answer! Sorry–I love color! LOL

I love and use all different colors! I love bright fun colors! I love that colors have meaning like red/white and blue for America and 4th of July! Sometimes I just feel like working with certain colors and then look for photos to go with the papers, other times the colors in a photo tell me what colors I will be using behind it!

As a scrapbooker colour inspires me to create pages…from the different colour schemes within each paper line to the colours each season represents to the colours in each of my photos.

  33. I love color. It’s so important to how a project feels. I love creating cards in the exact same design but just by changing the color you can change the entire look. I’m really loving the bright pops of color we are seeing right now.

Oh wow, these layouts are gorgeous!! I just love COLOR! Vibrant ones like the ones in Stacy’s set are my favorite, because they brighten my mood.

  35. Canay says:

Ever since I met Stacy Julian I have been inspired by color. I now sort my scrap supplies by color. Although blue is my all time favorite color yellow is my new “happy” color and I smile when I pour my coffee into my yellow coffee mug. Before being turned on to color, I didn’t pay any attention to what color my coffee mug was. I am now even thinking about color in my wardrobe and transitioning away from black and brown neutrals. I feel happy when I am wearing pretty colors.

I love the colors, so bright and cheerful!

  42. Emma says:

Color has the ability to cheer you up, relax you, irritate. There’s nothing like a pair of red shoes when you are feeling ‘sassy’, or the glow and warmth of an amber fire as you sip a cup of tea, and since it’s been particularly dreary where I live lately…a beautiful blue sky to make me smile all day long!

  43. Corinne says:

Oh COLOR, it inspires me by my moods. I find that certain colors get me either in a happy mood or can sometimes darken mood. The colors I wear in my clothing in my makeup and how I scrap really depict which mood I’m in. Having said that, If I win this contest, I know the Stacey Julian papers will defintely make me in a HAPPY mood *wink*

  44. serena says:

color can change my mood. It can lift my spirits. I love color!

  45. Marina says:

OK, so firstly, forgive me if I spell it colour,’cause I’m from downunder & well, that’s just how we spell it.
I love colour, from home decor, to clothing. My happy colour is red. Nothing else like it. If I need cheering up, I just go put on something red, or if I can’t do that, I’ll surround myself with my red pens & pencils, or my red cooking utensils, according to where I find myself at the time.
I just love colour though, any colour & love playing around it & working out different combinations in my scrapbooking & home decorating.

  46. Amy K says:

I have loved this paper (bright, fun colors with fun wording) since I saw a CHA preview. Stacy & Core’dinations…terrific pairing!
The colors of the outdoors are so inspiring. Color = Joyful heart

  47. Monica says:

  48. Connie says:

I love these colors and page layouts. Can anyone tell me how they got all the words on the papers – are these texture plates that I haven’t seen? Please post if someone knows who makes these and where to get them. Thanks!

  49. Sandy L says:

I know that when I am out shopping, if I see certain colors, I run (ok, walk quickly) so I can get home and scrapbook. I scrap with mainly blues and greens, so I am drawn naturally to cool colors, but pops of orange and red really call one’s attention to things. I can tell you by color how I feel, too…

  50. Deirdre says:

Orange and yellow are my “fill-me-with-joy” colors, and the colors in my creative space. Love all of Stacy’s picks, but I can’t seem to find where to order the pack online??
