Welcome to our First Ever 12 Days of Techniques. We are excited to share with you some of our favorite techniques using our unique color core cardstock. Each day a Design Team member is going to share a project featuring a technique with Core’dinationscardstock. We have TWELVE unique and amazing days lined up for you leading right into Christmas Eve Day.

In case you are just joining us today here is what we covered so far:

Day One: Sanding

Day Two: Tearing

Day Three: Embossing

Day Four: Debossing

Day Five: Distressing

Each day we will be giving away a great selection of Core’dinations ! Each prize will also receive a Dust Buddy and our NEW Sand It Gadget! And today we have one of our favorite sponsors and they have a prize for you in addition to the Core’dinations prize pack!

Today we have a special treat from

Any guesses what today’s Technique is? Going once……going twice….Yup, you guessed it! SCORING! The possibilities are endless when it comes to scoring and Core.

That is why todays winner will also receive the Ultimate Tool from Crafter’s Companion in addition to the Core Goodies! PLEASE make sure you head over to their Facebook Page and tell them how much you appreciate their support of the 12 Days of Techniques!  They also have a YouTUBE page with some really great videos. Once you sign in, you can subscribe via email to get notified when they load new videos.    BUT first you need to watch the Scoring Video here leave us a comment below.  This is a video you don’t want to miss… there are some awesome ideas!  We would love to hear what you will create with the Ultimate Tool from Crafter’s Companion and I am sure they would, too so tell them on their Facebook page 😉

Today’s project comes from Mindy Ayers using the Crafter’s Companion Ultimate Tool to create the box itself and the embossed lines on the tag.  The pre-embossed Cardstok for the box is  Core Impressions Jenni Bowlin Vintage Brights and some Core Essentials for the tag.

Check out this close-up. Mindy cut the letters right from the Jenni Bowlin Alpha Cardstock! I know I have said this 1000x’s before but Core’dinations is so versatile!!!

AND Mindy has one more example for us today. Check out how these ornaments are hanging on this card! Yup, you guess it…she scored the lines in the black magic and then sanded them. C-L-E-V-E-R!

Now we are ready for a WINNER!!!

I can never distress too much. LOVE all things distressed. It is my go to technique. That is why I LOVE Core’dinations. The paper is such high quality (and still reasonably priced) that I know it will withstand whatever I throw at it. Combine Core’dinations with Tim Holtz and I am in heaven!!

LaRayne (yesterday’s winner) make sure you get us your address by clicking the contact button here.

SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!!!  We have another give-a-way from a sponsor you have already seen during the 12 Days of Techniques!!!
