Today we have some great layouts we spotted from Maggie Lamarre over at Passionatelyartistic.com. Maggie loves her Core’dinations and shares with some really great tips.
Maggie even gave us a little write-up about each one! Here she is in her own words:
Creating your own embellishments is a snap using the Coredination papers.
I wanted to use a colour palette that was easy and matched my pictures perfectly and create a tapestry-look and feel.
Here’s how:
- Cut 2 sheets of coredination cardstock into 2.5 squares
- Emboss with Cricut Cuttlebug Swiss dot, and Victoria folders
- Sand the image and lightly mist with Glimmer mist of your choice, Adhere to Couture Cardstock

and the second page:

Exploring
Creating a layout with visual interest is very easy when tearing Core’dination cardstock because you to expose the core colour.
Here’s how:
- Mist the edge of the cardstock lightly and tear to create a valley ——> We LOVE this idea! Thanks, Maggie
- Repeat with the steps
- Embellishments were cut with the Cricut and embossed with Swiss Dot Folder.

Motivation
Making your own background paper to suit your style is as easy with embossing and sanding.
Here’s how:
- Cut Black Magic Core’dinations cardstockt into 4.5′ by 6.5 ‘ and then emboss with Cuttlebug Valentine’s folder
- Sand down the embossed section, lightly mist with Glimmer mist

Thanks so much for those GREAT tips, Maggie! Make sure you visit her over at her blog and leave her some love!
