Can you believe the next time we post on the blog will be 2012!?!?!?!?!?!!?

They year goes so quickly and we want to thank all of you for continued support of Core’dinations.  It has been an amazing year! We have a lot of exciting things happening right now for next year…it’s going to be GREAT!

Today we leave you with a fun page that is all about winter and glitter. What could be better than that for New Year’s Eve Eve?

Design Team member Andrea Amu created this layout for us today using our Glitter Silk, Vintage, Core Essentials, and WhiteWash.  Also Basic Grey Nordic Holiday and May Arts Ribbon from some of our favorite partners! How gorgeous are those blues…

January Colour Lover’s Challenge

WE are a bit early posting this but we thought since some people may be off due to the Holidays that you could get a jump start for January!

All entries are due by January 31st either link to this post or posted on Facebook. Please note:  due to CHA falling at this time, we may be delayed in posting a winner until the 2nd week in February.

Are you on Pinterest?  Make sure you follow us if you are. We loooooooooove pinning! :)

Today’s layout is from Designer Ellen Sosnoski. I used Vintage Cardstock and Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions for this layout and lots of layering! Love love to layer as much Core as I possibly can!

The little hearts are a Cuttlbug die…I use this one all the time! And the flower is cut from some May Arts ribbon.

Remember you must use Core’dinations Cardstock on  your project. Cards, layouts…anything will do just make sure you use some Core and you know how we love techniques ;)

Due by January 31st, 2012 link to THIS post or on our Facebook page.

So over the next few weeks our Design Team is putting together some of their favorite projects from 2011.

Starting us off is Design Team Member Kim Jeffress!

How much do you love the colors on this layout?  Kim used the Spotted Collection and some Tim Holtz Kraft-Core.

There is a lot of amazing detail on this layout…such as the splatter paint on the sanded dots and the subtle inking around the elements on the page.

And next up is a layout of Kim herself using some of that Gorgeous BasicGrey Core Impressions! Notice how Kim sanded the Core Impressions randomly? Just spots of the core coming through here and there.

And a card of course!

Love love these Jenni Bowlin mini calendar pages! PERFECT for cards and everything goes better with an umbrella!

First up we have Design Team Member Shaunte Wadley with a layout using the MME Core Impressions. Did you know we have mini packs of cardstock in the MME design for our cardmaker friends?  We sure do!  Obviously these look awesome on layouts as Shaunte shows us here.

Love how she hung the cutout shapes with the MayArts Ribbon like ornaments!

And next up we have some BasicGrey Core Impressions from Design Team Member Kim Jeffress using the Whimsy collection.

How about this for upcycling your scrappy packaging???? Everything does go better with candy.

Beautiful LO~ I like the whitewash cause it gives such a ‘weathered’ feel to my projects. I have only seen it in individual sheets and was wondering does it come in pads also? Thanks for sharing

Now let’s get today’s giveaway!

Today is all about Graphic 45 Core Impressions Timeless Collection.

We think this collection is timeless and is always one of our favorites! You can use it with your favorite Graphic 45 products or pair it with what you have in your stash like Design Team Member Debbie Standard did for us today!

Love the use of ribbon on this card from Debbie. She combines lace and satin trim and of course the Le Fleur and Houndstooth patterns.

Now, today is all about Whitewash. {SIGH} This is one of my favorite lines {though I do say that about all of them so I am not sure if that is a great reference} Design Team Member April Derrick. April really does an amazing job on this layout showcasing how beautiful Whitewash is. It is gorgeous on it’s own or layered with other sheets like April did here. She really sanded those leaves so that  pop right off the page.
