Really cute layout. I like the embossed paper in the background.

So how about some inspiration?!

Here is a little bit about this layout from Design Team Member Melissa Oliveira. When we were croppin’ our hearts out last week, we had a mini challenge on outlining. This was a new technique for some our Hard Core Crafters so I wanted to share with you a gorgeous layout from one of our Design Team Members for additional ideas on this unique technique. Again…remember…we have our technique videos for your viewing pleasure 24/7.

Here is a little bit about this layout from Melissa:

“I cut chipboard cloud shapes and lightly adhered them to the back of the layout using repositionable adhesive. I sanded over the area where the pieces were, then removed the chipboard from the back of the paper. Using embroidery floss, I stitched an outline around each cloud shape to give them more dimension. For the third cloud, I hand cut the shape from Whitewash cardstock and ran it through the Sizzex Big Shot with a Cuttlebug embossing folder before sanding and adhering the piece to the layout using foam tape.”

How cool is the mix of the sanding AND the embossed cloud?  LOVE it!

Melissa used a Sizzix embossing folder on the Whitewash cloud.

And here is a great angle for this layout from Melissa and how she stitched around the clouds after she sanded them. LOVE IT!
