We are so excited for this week and trust me when I say our papers are a match made in heaven! But seeing is believing, right? So make sure you stick around all week long for some inpsiration and a giveaway of course!
Make sure you check out the Authentique BLOG for more ideas and a giveaway AND their complete lines of gorgeous papers HERE.
AND PLEASE head over to Authentique’s FACEBOOK page to say “hi”!!!
And a goooorgeous card from Gail Linder. I mean she CUT this pattern herself?!?!
I just loved the colors in the Be(You)tiful collection and wanted to include a few patterns in my project, along with a couple of coordinating colors of Core! A quick search on Pinterest for chevron patterns and I decided on one and got to work building it up.
It took a little while to piece it all together but am very happy with how it turned out. I chose a couple of colors from the Vintage cardstock collection to match beautifully, and the vintage wash toned with the style of the papers.
The fabulous Kate Nolan Denham is up next with a layout. I love how she used the Red Pepper from the Brights Collection pack with the Be(you)tiful line. There are all these little accents of this color throughout the line and it is so so pretty!
I pulled out Core’dinations Brights Core Essential Collection to find the perfect cardstock to play on the pretty colors in Authentique’s Be(you)tiful Collection. It matches perfectly with bits and pieces of this line like here in the arrow from the accents sheet.
The rosettes were created from Core’dinations Cardstock and a die by Sizzix. I used the same rosette die in creating ruffled border. Instead of folding and connecting the the rosettes, I overlapped the three creased layers to create the border. Let’s not forget about the amazing journal spots that come with Authenique collections. Cut them out and you have instant journaling areas. No excuses not to journal!
edited: sorry friends…our links weren’t working for Kate but we have updated them!
And a fast and fabulous card from Kim Moreno! You can never have too many of these ready to go for those special occasions that just seem to sneak up on you. Kim embossed the grey cardstock and sanded it slightly to reveal the color core and then tore it along the bottom edge. Aftering punching and sasnding the butterflies, she adhered them to her card.
