Happy Birthday Box

Today we have Jennifer Edwardson sharing a great alternative to a traditional birthday card.
I’ve seen these great pop up cards but had never tackled one until now and I love how it came together.  I used a Silhouette cut file and 4 spring colors of Core’dinations cardstock Graphic45 Signature Series.  One of the many great things about Core cardstock is how well it cuts through any die cutting machine.  This is an A2 size card so the cuts are very detailed and quite small and the cardstock cuts great!

Once I had the green, blue and red pieces cut, I ran them through my eBosser with a couple of embossing folders and then lightly sanded them each to make the patterns pop !! I loved adhering all the bits to the inside so when it is ‘opened’ the flowers open up too.  A little butterfly punch and a birthday sentiment and this card is ready for my Mom’s birthday.

… I confess that I found a tutorial on how to make one of these, base is all done, I’m struggling on how to fill up the middle => THANK YOU for the inspiration :)
