Mary Pat Siehl here and I love Back to School time and I love making nice little cards for my son’s teachers just to say “hi” and ” here’s to a great year!” … Core’dinations and Petaloo are the perfect partners for these cards.
First up I have a CAS card using the Spotted Core and lightly sanded it to expose the ColorCore cardstock. I then added a fun die cut using the 110 lb. Smooth Cardstock that was stamped. I then added the wonderful flowers from Petaloo for my embellishments.
For my second card I used the Brand New Chalk Core Note Cards. Can I tell you that these note cards are AMAZING! The make cardmaking so easy! I simply scored my card, sanded it and then added a Core Tag with my sentiment and then my Petaloo flowers and I was done! So CAS and so much fun!
Suzanna Lee here and over the months that I have designed for Core’dinations, I have shared with you many of the plus’ of working with Core’dinations cardstock. With the design team call announced (yes, you TOO could design for Core, see more about the call here) you know that this term is winding down for us and I have one last plus to share with you; no matter which manufacturer you put along side Core’dinations, there is always a WIDE assortment of coordinating Core’dinations cardstock to work with.
I have yet to find a company who I can’t coordinate Core’dinations cardstock with. Today we are partnering with Petaloo and just look at how amazing this Graphic 45 Dark’s collection pairs up with the Petaloo flowers! I was sent an assortment of different flowers that I mixed and matched to grow my garden with – a lovely bed of flowers indeed!
And of course it cuts wonderfully in my Silhouette:
