Thanksgiving Card by Mary Pat
Hi Everyone! Mary Pat here with you today and with the holidays fast approaching I have a great idea for a Clean and Simple Thanksgiving Day card that is so easy that you will want to mass produce these to send to everyone on your Friends and Family list!
Thanksgiving card supplies:
- Core’dinations Chocolate Box
- Tim Holtz Shattered Collection
- Sand it Gadget
- Dust Buddy
- Simon Says Stamps
For my card I broke out some of the yummy Chocolate Box collection and used the Cherry Cordial. I then scored and sanded my edges. I then used a digi cut file from the Silhouette store and cut out the flower. I backed the negative space with the Tim Holtz Shattered collection. Finally I stamped my sentiment using the back of the Cherry Cordial.
Here is a video on how this card came about:
Thanks so much for joining me. Hope you have a wonderful and crafty day!

We are here with our Summer Brights Challenge!
Every month we challenge our designers to try new things. It might be a collection pack, techniques…something different just to get those creative juices flowing. So for July, we challenged our designers to use the Brights Collection pack and to do some fussy cutting for some added interest.
The Brights collection pack is the PERFECT color palette for all your summer layouts and projects! Don’t be afraid of those bright colors..embrace them!
First up we have Designer Shaunte Wadley. She created a card trio for us today using Brights, David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system, Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions, Core Couture, & Vintage Cardstock.
Here is a shot of some of the Core Couture glitter cardstock. SWOOOOOOOOON! Dies are from Lifestyle Crafts.
And I love how Designer Vivian Keh used the purples in this layout. The possiblities are endless with what you can do with a bright color palette. Add a op of yellow and that gorgeous fussy cutting of her stamps and you have the perfect layout!
And nothing is cuter than a swimming doggie Blues and yellows are the perfect summer colors!
Don’t want to stamp on the textured side? Flip it over!
And Suzanna Lee created a layout focusing on the primary colors found in the Brights Collection pack. And, not to mention, this yogurt place is awesome! You pick your own ice cream and toppings and then they weigh it for you. You gotta be careful though….it adds up! LOL! Tone on tone embossing and die cuts with jsut the perfect touch of sanding. LOVE IT!
So guess what we did yesterday?
We started shipping those Hard Core Cropper prizes!!!!
