Who’s up for some cute cards today? Well we have some cute cards from Kate Nolan-Denham for you today that include some stamping and, of course, Core!
One of ourfavorite things to do on Core’dinations Cardstock is stamp! Kate does that on this first card…love all the tiny accents on this card, too. And don’t forget to use the 6×6 packs for your cards!
How about a layout?
We have a random winner!
Thank you so much for a GREAT week! We hope you enjoyed yourselves and got loads of inspo for your Core and Tombow to use in the future. You can’t do much without quality adhesive, right? RIGHT!
So, again, we THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your continued support of Core’dinations Cardstock. We love our Hard Core Crafters!!!!
So we pick our winners randomly by blog and then by comments. The random blog was Clare Buswell’s and the winner is…..
Very pretty card. Love the textures and embellishments.
MaryLou email ellen_sosnoski@core’dinations.com with your full name, address and phone number with Tombow Winner in the subject line.
And how about another card from Design Team Member Heather Kaesgan? A super cute card using some Marvy Uchida punches and Glitter Silk, Core Couture, Core Essentials and a Darice embossing folder for the buttons. What a great mix don you think? Love how the ribbon that she created with the punches pops off the top a bit. Oh of cours..Tombow adhesive!
Okay, so when we first saw these punches at CHA last year we fell in major love! And that is an understatement.
Marvy Uchida has the most gorgeous punches that emboss AND punch at the SAME time! WOW! They are called Silhoutte and Embossing craft punches. So…you know the embossed images look so great sanded with our Core Cardstock. See those red areas? That is where the embossed area is so you can sand it. So what are you waiting for??? Order yours NOW!
Here are a few projects highlighting these punches. I have to say
walk RUN to your favorite retailer and ask them to get some of these. You won’t stop using yours!
These next two cards are from Clare Buswell using the Button Punch and Poppy punch. Keep in mind for this first one Clare used the Gemstones cardstock so she didn’t sand but take a good look at the dimension JUST from a punch. So cool! Add an SRM Sticker and you are finished. How easy is that?
Look how gorgeous!
For this card Clare used the Poppy punch:

This next card is from Designer Suzanna Lee:
Quick simple yet fun card to welcome a new baby. The Marvy punches make it so easy as they not only punch but emboss too, adding that special little touch. The small detail that make the button more visually appealing. It’s the small things that matter!

Wahoo! Our site is up and we are ready to rock-n-roll! But we did lose a few blog posts from earlier this week so today is one of those posts. Unfortunately they were some Fourth of July posts so it may seem a little late so sorry about that!
BUT the good thing is that you can make these stars ANY time of the year! They look SO good on layouts, too. Keep on reading for some great step-by-step directions from Designer Kate Nolan-Denham!
1)Create a card base, A2 size, made out of Red Rose Core’dinations Cardstock.
2)Cut a piece of White Glove CoreCouture Glitter Cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″. Glue to card base.
3)Deboss a piece of Navy Cardstock from the 4.25 x 5.5″ Darks collection and layer it on top of the white mat. I used Craft Concepts Solid Stars embossing folder for this card. The debossing is a GREAT contrast to the raised stars, don’t you think?
4)Die cut 3 larger stars in different sizes and 2 small stars out of the Red Rose cardstock leftover from making the base of the card. I used Sizzix Star Framelits.
5)Score each large star at each point.
6)Scor the stars along the scored lines and sand them with the Sandit Gadget to give them a 3-D effect.
7)Die cut a label shape out of the White Glove CoreCouture Glitter Cardstock, trim the bottom of it so it will be flush with the White Glove mat already on the card.
8)Stamp the sentiment on the label you die cut in #7. I used Spellbinders Label.
9)Add the stars and sentiment label to the card using 3-D foam. I used Helmar Zapdots.
10)Give to someone. This card is bound to brighten anyone’s day!

So today we have layers and layers from Mary Pat Siehl.
First here is a little bit about Mary Pat:
My name is Mary Pat Siehl. I am an avid paper crafter, stamper, and card maker. I have been paper crafting for over 12 years. It truly is a passion of mine. I would descirbe my style as clean and simple, but this is not to say my style is boring. I love to layer my papers and add all types of embellishments. I love adding different textures to my layouts. I am married to a wonderful man who totally supports my addiction to paper crafting. I have 2 boys who keep me totally on the run and having fun. I am a high school teacher by day, and I am in my 24th year of teaching. I live in beautiful Springboro, Ohio. If I am not scrapping I am either hanging out with my 3 favorite guys or on the tennis courts.
Now Mary Pat’s layout..for more design inspiration make sure you check out her blog HERE!
