Today we have a great tutorial from Design Team Member Kim Jeffress using one of our favorites….Chocolate Box!!! Kim needed a quick and easy gift for a friend and this is what she created….
Step 1 Take a sheet of chocolate box cardstock and punch a circle about 2 inches from the edge.

Step 2 Cut the cardstock into a rectangle shape approx 3 inches wide and 8 inches in length(leave one side on the side of the circle longer than the other)

step 3 Score the cardstock near the punched out circle on the longer side to create a fold.

step 4 Using a sanding tool or sandpaper, sand all the edges of the choocolate box cardstock to reveal the coloured core!

step 5 Cut another rectangle from the chocolate box cardstock two and a half inches wide and 4.75 inches in length. Using a die cut machine emboss the BACK side of the cardstock. Adhere this piece to the bottom section of the tag.

step 6 Take a piece of matching cardstock approx 2 inches wide and create a banner piece by folding back and forth as shown, repeat for the other side and then cut inverse triangles on each end.

step 7 Add foam tape to the back of the banner piece and adhere to the centre of the tag as shown. Add a matching sticker to embellish.

step 8 Type out your sentiment to the back of the cardstock ,cut out ,add a brad and attach with foam dots, Fold your card on the scored line and hang from a bottle!

And here is the final project!

And a close up for some of that fabulous detail…
