Good Morning!

Some Cards from Vicki Boutin….

Vicki uses a nice mix of Core’dination Cardstock on this card including Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions, Vintage and Core Essentials.

And check out these cuuuuute Halloween bags from Char using the Black Magic Line. LOVE!

To Sand or Not to Sand…

That is the question for this Tuesday’s Tip.

For this card Linda Beeson sanded the pre-embossed Stacy Julian Core Impressions cardstock lightly for a soft effect:

Hera Frei uses the same paper line from Stacy Julian coupled with some Cosom Cricket Core Impressions without sanding:

Well..How about both? Heather Bowser left her Core Essentionals background paper as is and then sanded her pumpkins:

How do you decide whether a projects needs that little extra touch of sanding? We would love to hear your thoughts!

Good Morning! Today we want to share some fun creations from the Design Team. It is all about celebrating color for the summer!

First up is Kimber McGray. Don’t you just love the bright pinks and yellows from the Imaginisce goodies against the brown?

And check out the color on this card from Kim Moreno! The reds, greens and oranges are gorgeous and the green Jenni Bowlin Core Impression Cardstock just pops:

And Core’dinations Whitewash just sets of color beautifully as Debbie Standard showcases in her card here full of fun summer images:

Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions Cardstock

Have a great week everyone! Stay tuned for some festive Canada Day and 4th of July projects.

Cards, Cards, Cards

Today we are celebrating cards! The Design Team has been loading some really fabulous cards from Graduation themes to Just Because cards. Enjoy!

Kimber McGray featuring some Jillibean Soup products:

Remember, you don’t always need to emboss and sand Core’dinations and this card from Heather Bowswer is a great example of that:

And one more card from Debbie Standard. Debbie uses her Jenni Bowlin Core Impression Cardstock here in place of patterned paper as her background. Gorgeous!

It always amazes me the amount of details I see on cards. So today we are sharing some cards the Design Team created.

LOOK at these gorgeous flowers on this card from Debbie! Wowzers…gorgeous..and she added an SRM Sticker on here, too. Just the perfect finishing touch.

And the shape of this card by Linda is wonderful She lets the Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions stand on its own with a fun embellishment cluster, too. Check out the top, right hand corner. Love that special detail she did with her corner punch.

ALSO, DON’T FORGET THE GUEST DESIGN TEAM SPOT GOING ON OVER AT CAARDVARKS CHALLENGE BLOG RIGHT NOW!!!

They have been Celebrating Core over the last week and you don’t want to miss out on the gorgeous creations their team has been working on.

We’re counting down until the New Year…

… with Kim Moreno!

1. What is your most treasured Holiday memory? It had to be when I had all my kids together at the house with all the grandkids.

2. Do you have any special Holiday traditions that are unique to you and your family? The kids always open a package after church on Christmas Eve service. They laid out cookies and milk for Santa. I decorate the outside of the house like the Grizwalds – about 50+ strands of lights. I have tons of Christmas decorations.

3. What kind of {scrapbooking} projects are you creating this year for this Holiday Season?
I am (still) working on two mini albums for my nieces for Christmas. I make around 50 Christmas cards for family and all the people I work with.
