Have you heard the news?!

We are beyond excited to bring you a FABULOUS new release….

David Tutera™ ….

and Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock introduce to you….

YES… you read it right. The amazing David Tutera™ from My Fair Wedding AND the creator of his gorgeous Embellish Jewelry line (among many other things) created an awesome cardmaking system with the beautiful Core’dinations Cardstock you all know and love.

Not only will you get that fun, sandable, colored Core but you will also get pre-made cardbases, sentiments, tags, layers AND MORE!  David Tutera™ has been a staple in the DIY crafting industry for years with his Bridal Collection that is available at JoAnn Fabric & Craft Stores. The David Tutera™ Celebrate card system was created with that very same concept in mind. Just like his weddings, every card can be custom designed and created for that special occasion.

So what should you do next? Hurry up and  like the brand, new page on Facebook here! And keep reading  below for more details….

Make sure you check our website here and go to each step. There are THREE steps ….

1.) Pick your card base. You will see A1, A2, A6 A7 and even  SQUARE card bases to choose from in a variety Core’dinations Cardstock.

2.) Add Layers. Hmmm….what is a layer you ask? Once you select your card base, you can add style and color by choosing layers that come in a variety of different colors.  They even come pre-embossed and die-cut so you don’t need to do anything but adhere to your card base. Well, you may want to sand a bit ;)

3.) Embellish. Ah, yes. Stickers and Shapes!  Flowers, butterflies, tags, shells, string, buttons, jewels..you name it we have it for you packed together and ready to mix and match to add that final touch to that perfect card for any occasion.

EASY! In three simple steps you have a gorgeous card. Check out our How To downloadable PDF’s and Step-by-Step videos that will show you easy steps to create beautiful projects. We will have many, many more of these to come very soon…including more ideas from our Card Design Team!

This line will be sold exclusively at JoAnn Fabric & Craft Stores.

NOW…Remember that talented Card Design Team we announced last week? Yep, you guessed it…these ladies are the lucky ones that get to create with this BRAND, NEW line!  They get to play with the David Tutera™ Celebrate Card System and present to you new and unique projects. How cool is that??!?!?!?

This fabulous team will be bringing you first hand, the most awesome creations using this BRAND NEW line.  Each has their own style and can really showcase how to use these wonderful products in a special way. So stay tuned for more from them very, very SOON!

Don’t forget…only ONE MORE WEEK

Okay one more week and a day ;)
Calling all Cardmakers … Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock is looking for Card Designers!
Please Note…we edited with some answers to your questions.
We are looking for talented and dedicated cardmakers that can not only create cards but other projects that can show the creative use of pre-made card bases (like our Core Cards that are pre-cut and scor’d. Think about it like this: if we sent you a pack of our Core Cards what would you do with them? ), die cuts, and embellishments. We are looking for cards that use all kinds of die cuts…tags, labels, scalloped pieces, hearts, stars etc. Any design, whether you cut it with your own machine or if it is pre-made is fine (so don’t worry if you do not have a die cutting machine you will not need one if chose as part of the team).
- Step One: Design and then post three projects in one posting on your personal blog on or before Friday August 10th at 12:00pm EST titled “Core Cards Creative Frenzy” Keep in mind we are looking for paper crafters that specialize in cardmaking and that can showcase pre-made card bases and die cuts with cards and other unique projects.  Feel free to include step out photos or step-by-step instructions of any techniques that you used that you feel need highlighting as we are looking for our designers to be able to create tutorials in PDF format on occasion.
- Step Two: Send us an email with a link to this exact blog posting to  coredt@coredinations.com. Please ensure the link is to “Core Cards Creative Frenzy” posting and not just a link to your blog. It makes it much easier to find, especially if you post frequently on your blog. Please include in your email your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. Also include a resume of your publications and current design team obligations (if applicable).
- We are also looking for designers that are comfortable creating how-to videos and tutorials as well so please let is us know if this interests you (camera and compensation will be provided).
- If you have any questions about the application process and/or design team requirements, be sure to post them on the Core’dinations’ Facebook page  or on this post as they may be questions that several applicants would like answered or email Ellen at ellen_sosnoski@coredinations.com. New projects or the use of Core’dinations Cardstock is not required but if you have some Core’dinations and would like to create something brand new we would love to see it!
Requirements will be comparable to other papercrafting companies  and  Core’dinations will compensate with ample  product as well as monetary compensation for special projects.  Ideally we are looking for designers that have blogs to help with promotional activities (only on occasion) but this is not a requirement so please feel free to send us a link to an online gallery, flickr account, etc.
And, yes of course! International Applicants are welcome!
So why not share a card today in the spirit of cardmaking?!
Design Team member Shaunte Wadley made this gorgeous card using Core’dinations Whitewash and some Petaloo flowers that are dyed to match our papers perfectly!

Today we have some cards from Design Team Members Lydia Jackson and Debbie Standard!

We cannot get enough of this little cutie! Lydia used some May Arts ribbon and a Lifestyle Crafts die to make that awesome border. The Cosmo Cricket Woodgrain cardstock looks great with the raccoon, too!

Debbie Standard this awesome card using some Gemstones (embossed beautifully for the background) and then Debbie stamped her footballs and then embossed them, too! That is our Tuesday Tip for you….you can still stamp AND emboss with your Core!

The key is to stamp FIRST, cut it out and THEN emboss the image. It makes this football much more realistic, don’t you think?
