Happy Wednesday everyone!  Today we wanted to share with you an amazing layout from the My Mind’s Eye Core Impressions line just released  at CHA in January.   This project is from the Lost & Found 12×12 paper pack.

Check out this gorgeous layout from Design Team Member Kim Moreno. Just gorgeous!  It was designed to work with both My Mind’s Eye Lost & Found Collections and it pairs beautifully with other Core’dinations lines like the Chocolate Box that Kim used as her base for this 12×12 layout.  Notice how she scored the frame around the outer edge of the layout base?

Have a great day!!!

Did you know we have videos along the right hand side of the blog??? Make sure you click here to see all off them. Each one of the videos will core’dinate with our 12 days of techniques.

The first day of our 12 Days of Techniques is sanding featuring some layouts from Hera Frei. Sanding is an easy way to change the look of Core’dinations Cardstock instantly.  Since the core is a different color, sanding is a great way release that inner core. Make sure you check out the video here for some GREAT tips, notice how she uses the Dust Buddy.  On these two layouts, Hera uses our Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions cardstock. It comes pre-embossed so all you need to do is sand! The Dust Buddy and Sand it Gadget are great tools to have to get to the Core of your favorite Core’dinations papers so that is why we are  giving them away today!

Not only does Hera sand away the brown from the Jenni Bowlin Chocolate box to show the red core but she mixes THREE different lines of Core’dinations.  Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions (brown) Core Essentials (red layout base), and Whitewash (layered under the Queen & Co. embellishments).

Make sure you leave a comment today to win the Carodstock, Dust Buddy & Sand It Gadget! We will pick a inner and post tomorrow . Don’t forget the Teresa Collins give-a-way!!!!

Please note that prizes will be shipping the week of December 27.

Tuesday Tutorial

Good Morning!

Remember that Fiskars paper crimper?  Today’s Tutorial from Design Team Member Ellen Sosnoski showcases a unique way to use that crimper with Core’dinations Chocolate Box cardstock. So blow the dust off of it and let’s get moving!

First, using your paper trimmer or scissors, cut very thin strips out of the cardstock. Scraps work great for this, too.

Next, run them through the crimper.

And Sand.

In three easy steps, you have your very own, hand made raffia. the great thing about using the Chocolate Box cardstock is that you can showcase the front and the back of the cardstock!

You can use it too fill jars like this or gift bags and other little trinkets.

Here is the finished project…

Enjoy!
