Did you know Core’dinations can also be used as your go-to cardstock. . . no technique required? We all love the different techniques such as sanding, tearing, embossing and all the other techniques you can do BUT Core’dinations Cardstock can be used as your everyday cardstock, too.

Here are some great designs from our DT that showcase how you can use Core’dinations as your everyday, reach for first, cardstock. You can use it to mount photos, as your background, journal on it and print on it, too!

Here are some great examples of those techniques:

We are heading back to the basics with Core Essentials Cardstock this week. The Core Essentials Cardstock is perfect for any project. Even though it’s fun to emboss and sand the to the core of our Black Magic and Chocolate Box cardstocks, don’t forget how great Core’dinations Cardstock can be for the essential cardstock on any project.

Debbie Standard created this layout with just the basics. By just using different shades of blue Core Essentials and some Whitewash, she created depth and movement on this gorgeous page!

There is nothing betting than adding a wonderful accent to your projects just by sanding. It is so easy yet gives such a dramatic pop, especially when the Core is red.

Kim Moreno made these gorgeous Valentine Cards that focus on Whitewash. The black and white backgrounds totally set off the red core!

OH how we LOVE to emboss…

We are continuing our LOVE theme this month with a super simple way to frame your layout from Cari Locken.

You don’t even need a fancy embossing machine for this either, you can use a Scor It or just a stylus and a ruler. Remember to score the back of your cardstock and sand the front to show the Core.

This simple technique frames the layout and draws you immediately to the focal point of this sweet photo!

We’re counting down until the New Year…

… with Kim Moreno!

1. What is your most treasured Holiday memory? It had to be when I had all my kids together at the house with all the grandkids.

2. Do you have any special Holiday traditions that are unique to you and your family? The kids always open a package after church on Christmas Eve service. They laid out cookies and milk for Santa. I decorate the outside of the house like the Grizwalds – about 50+ strands of lights. I have tons of Christmas decorations.

3. What kind of {scrapbooking} projects are you creating this year for this Holiday Season?
I am (still) working on two mini albums for my nieces for Christmas. I make around 50 Christmas cards for family and all the people I work with.
