Leeann Pearce!
We are so excited to have Leeann designing with us for the next few months. AND…HAVE YOU HEARD???
Leeann just earned the amazing title of Scrapbook Master from Scrapbooking Memories! And we have her all to ourselves today.
PLEASE check out her  blog here for more gorgeous creations.
Here is a little bit about these cards from Leeann:
Hello… My name is Leeann Pearce and I live in a small country town called Capel in Western Australia with my darling husband Quentin and 3 gorgeous girls, Holly, Storm and Jorja. I have been scrapping for nine years and I love it! It has taken me on this amazing creative journey that makes me strive for. I have a massive love for all crafting products and I love playing with all the new stuff. But I also like to mix it up with the older stuff as well. Because it’s all still so cool to me. I scrap for a lot of reasons not just to record. I love the creative outlet it gives me – the freedom to create!
I really Love my core cardstock. There is so much you can do with it. Today I want to share two cards I made using Tim holtz kraft-core from the nostalgic collection. I simply trimmed my Kraft core to size and using a Christmas number embossing folder and ran this through my Cuttlebug, lightly sand the top, revealing the Kraft colour. It certainly makes the cardstock pop and adds great texture at the same time. Then I simply finished each card of with a sentiment and buttons and some hand folded leaves.
If you were at our Hard Core Crop you saw these gorgeous leaves!
Here’s an extra for you – if you would like to know how to make these leaves follow these directions.
Special Note: I am NOT the original creator of these leaves…
Here is a close up. I tried this myself and LOVE it! SO much fun especially with Core.
MATERIALS: Tim Holtz Kraft-core nostalgic collection, Core cardstock neutrals, Core Sand It Gadget, Cuttlebug and numbers embossing folder, epiphany crafts star 25 tool and star 25 bubble cap, Webster’s  Pagessentiment royal Christmas sticker tags, basic grey buttons, Prima pearls, machine stitching.

And if you haven’t grabbed some Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Seasonal Impressions than you must! Check out how Design Team Member Lydia Jackson just sanded certain details like the spiderweb in the corner and the “haunted” text.

AND she paired it with some of our Core Essentials and Vintage Cardstock.  Have you seen the label technique that Lydia used here on her layout for her journaling?  Check it out HERE!  Awesome!

We are here ALL WEEK LONG with Bella Blvd and couldn’t be more excited.  Our team has create some really gorgeous   projects showing off just how great Core’dinations Cardstock goes with the beautiful Bella products. From fabulous patterned papers …to alpha letters …to super fun designer tape…Bella Blvd has  products for every paper crafter.

ARE YOU HAVING FUN YET??!?!

So sit back, relax, and get ready to be inspired. Our Design Teams have worked hard for you!  AND we would LOVE it {and I know they would, too} if you could head over to their Facebook page and give them a great big “HI!” from us and the Bella Blvd blog is looking fabulous, too!  There have been giveaways almost every day between the both blogs so make sure you check out  EVERY day!

And guess what?!  We have ONE MORE Glitter Silk cardstock pack to giveaway so comment on this post to win.

Today Design Team Member Debbie Standard created some gorgeous layouts for you.

For this first layout Debbie created pairing up her Bella goodies with some Fancy Pants Core Impressions.  LOVE the different patterns that Debbie mixed here…

And..yep! You guessed it….Debbie did an album using Bella Blvd products and Core. That’s all you need for one fabulous album.  For this first layout, Debbie used a bit of the Jillibean Soup Core Impressions.

I have to say I think our Spotted Collection goes amazingly with Bella Blvd. AND it comes in 6×6 and 12×12!!!

Take a close look at the scallops going down the left-hand side of the layout. Debbie punched circles (you could easily cut them with a die-cut machine as well) embossed them and then lined them up to look like scallops!

Just add sanding and a monkey ;)

Gosh the Bella  Blvd chipboard shapes are the CUTEST!

And this Darice embossing folder with the clouds just awesome. You will love it…I know our Design Team has been using it 24/7 since they got their hands on it.

Dust Buddy & Sand It Gadget Combo Pack

This is probably one of my most favorite releases for us this CHA.

If you know me, you know how much I love my Sandit Gadget and Dust Buddy. If you use Core, you must get this! It’s a combo back that includes a Dust Buddy and Sand It Gadet and refill sand paper! Everyone needs one of these so make sure you tell your retailer to stock these for you.

Want proof of how much you will use yours?  Here is a photo of my Dust Buddy from scrapping this weekend. I made two layouts with our BRAND NEW Darks collection pack (see yesterday’s post if you missed it) and this is what my Dust Buddy looked like when I was done. It definitely works and it picked up other dust and debris that makes its way onto you projects. Your projects (and hands) will be much cleaner when you use this.
