Don’t forget to reach out to those women in your life that make every day special for you!

Today we have a beautiful card from Designer Kerri Smith using the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system. The great thing about this system is cards take only minutes. AND this sentiment, “for you with love”, from Step 3 is so versatile. You could make this card and have it ready to go, adding the sticker sentiment at the last minute depending on the occasion. BUT since we are celebrating mom’s Designer Kerri Smith used the mother’s day sentiment from the white and black stickers.

We can’t wait to see what you create with this fabulous system.

Remember to share those creations on the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system FACEBOOK page!

Yes, you heard me right….

A layout with the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking System!  Trine  always does beautiful work and this layout is no exception. She mixed and matched some Jenni Bowlin Everyday Core Impressions with bits and pieces of the Steps 2 Lace Doily Assortment and Die Cut Label Assortments and  Steps 3.

Isn’t it gorgeous?   And the little banner from the  Flower and Heart Seals and the Wedding Shapes. This line is so versatile and makes even layouts easy and beautiful!

Someone pointed out about the little envelope…I don’t know how we missed this the first time around. That is one of our Step 3 Bookmarks! Trine just folded it to make it look like a cute little envie!

And just to keep you updated…the new Design Team members have been notified via email. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all of the amazing applications.

Happy Friday!

Who is having fun with SCOR PAL?????????? We are!   Do you have a Scor-Pal?  Well, if you are a paper craft you better. AND if you love Core, then  you BETTER! Scoring, then sanding with Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock is the only way to go.

Scoring raises the cardstock so you can sand it and release that inner Core. It’s gorgeous AND both design teams are going to show you easy and fabulous ways the Scor Pal products and Core’dinations can add interested to your papercrafting projects.

Did you know we have a Scoring Video?   Check out our Technique videos for some awesome ideas on what you can do with Core, including the scoring video.

PLEASE make sure you check out the Scor Pal blog for some iNcReDiBle designs this week (I think there might be a prize over there ;) ). They SIMPLY rockYou know we always have something up our sleeve for you when we do these fun blog events so keep commenting for a chance to win some great Core’dinations Cardstock!

Today we have Design Team Lydia Jackson with the CUTEST CARD EVER! Can you tell we love the Scor-Bug Embosser??? It fits right in the grooves of your Scor-Pal and gives it tiny little bumps that look like dots. Sand them and you  have such a cool design.

Lydia layered her tree on a Zigzag  Edge  in the Glitter Silk (very much like a postage stamp shape) (Step 2 Layer from the David Tutera Cardmaking System.

And a close-up! How cool is this?  You can make any design you want!

Eeeek! Add some Queen & Co bling and you are good to go!

Pre Crop Challenge!

November 23, 2012 by Ellen
Filed under May Arts Ribbon, Scrapbook Blog

Tomorrow is THE DAY! BUT…we have a surprise for you :)

Anyone scrapping tonight???  How about a pre-crop challenge from Designer Shaunte Wadley?

Now this might just be the cutest stocking stuffer EVER!

Shaunte used a piece of the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking System Step 2 Layer and, folded it in half and adhered it over the top of the Chapstick.

Next, embellish! A David Tutera Celebrate STep 3 Tag would be perfect.  Yep…everything comes PRE-EMBOSSED for you! Just pop ‘em out of the package sand and you are ready to go. Even the birdie is from the David Tutera Celebrate step 3 line, too!

Last, but not least, a fun sentiment. Chappy Holidays! Wouldn’t this be cute for Chappy Birthday, too?

SO…for this challenge, you need to create a  small gift item. It doesn’t have to be chapstick but it can be any little stocking stuffer you want…it just needs to be some kind of   itty bitty cute little gift. We will post all the rules tomorrow morning and a master challenge list for you.

The winner of this challenge will win a  BRAND NEW David Tutera Celebrate cardmaking system goodie pack so you can easily recreate fun projects like this.

Please note you can use ANY Core for this project, not just the David Tutera Celebrate line. If you have our Cut & Emboss collection, that size would be perfect for this, too.  If all fails, cut yours down to size or use some scraps.

Ribbon is from our friends over at May Arts.

David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking System Versatility

November 15, 2012 by Ellen
Filed under Pink Paislee, Scrapbook Blog

Hi Everyone!

I couldn’t  wait to dive into the NEW David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system for things other than cards. Making gift bags is one of my favorite things and I knew the time had come when I wanted to make a mini album for a friend who just had the cutest little guy a year ago.  So I made a premade album for her so all she  needed to do was just add photos.

I used one of the tags from Step 3.  The tags come with different pre-embossed designs so all you need to do is sand.

Same with the Step 2 layers. They make PERFECT pages for the album AND NO CUTTING or EMBOSSING!!!!!! Just sand them if you want and adhere. SO SO easy.

We cannot wait to see what you can do with the NEW David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system. It’s not just for cards…the possibilities are endless.

For more ideas and inspiration check out our Gallery and How to sections.
