Today I have two cards using our Core Basics line. The Vellum and  110 lb Smooth White cardstock are great for stamping.  And even though the Kraft and Black cardstocks are not sandable, they still look great embossed, scored and punched!

The David Tutera cardmaking system makes life so easy! Pick a cardbase (Step 1), Pick a layer (Step 2), and add some embellishments (Step 3) and you are done! It’s that easy. Today Debbie Standard created some cards using this process.

Add some interest with your own embossing folders  or use the pre-embossed Step 2 layers.

Debbie created her own window in her pre-made cardbase by simpling running it through her diecut machine!

Quick and Easy 5 and 10 Minute Cards

Jennifer Edwardson here with you to share some quick and easy cards you can make in under 10 minutes! Sometimes you just need a quick card …. you know when you have the gift but forgot the card  or you just want to get one in the mail fast? These are a few ideas that are super easy, super cute and ready for any sentiment you might need.
I added a Step 2 layer that coordinated and gently sanded the top off the show the lighter color inner core.  I embossed a couple of butterfly die cuts and sanded them to show the purple core but only adhered them  to the card in the center so they look like they’re ‘flying’ ….. a few adhesive backed pearls and a sentment and this was done in under 10 minutes !!!

5 MINUTE CARD ALERT !!  This one was even faster. Again I went with a polka dot base but chose kraft instead.  I adhered (3) of the pre-embossed envelope seals and raised them using 3D foam and added a ‘miss you’ sentiment sticker to the middle – DONE !!  Cute and quick – love that !!

Hi, Ava here today and I would like to share a couple of Wedding Cards with you that I made in anticipation of the summer Wedding season upon us.
The David Tutera Celebration Card Embellishment Kits should be a staple in every home to help make fresh cards for any occasion.  The 3 step kits are ready to use and a little sanding adds texture to the cards.
Step # 1
Select a card base from the many choices that are available. I am using the Window Die cut cardbases.
Step # 2
Select a decorative layer from the Step # 2 or your choice of matching colored Core’dinations Cardstock.
Step # 3
Add matching embellishments from the Love Embellishment Kit and fun bow from some May Arts ribbon.

Mixing and Matching Core and David Tutera

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Jennifer Edwardson here and I’ve been lucky enough to work with the David Tutera Celebrate system from the beginning and have made some super cute quick and easy cards, along with more detailed ones too but I wanted to try something a bit different this time so I encorporated bits and pieces of the David Tutera Celebrate line with Core’dinations lines, too.
Many card makers are also scrapbookers and I decided to take some of the new patterned cards and create a layout instead.  I started with a brown Core’dinations cardstock base and layered a white spotted piece slightly smaller on top.

I chose the colors of cards I wanted to use and made a border punched mat for my photos first. Once i had this all in place I started punching shapes from the card bases.  I used a couple different sizes of scalloped circle punched and then a tiny circle punch too.

I gently sanded the edges of these and then layered them on top of each other using 3D foam throughout the layout, trimming a few to a straight edge here and there as well.
I added a layered card sentiment as the title and some typewriter journaling to complete this one of Em and one of her closest girlfriends on her 13th birthday !!
