More Mother’s Day Inspiration!

Today we have a beautiful card from Designer Kerri Smith using the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system. The great thing about this system is cards take only minutes. AND this sentiment, “for you with love”, from Step 3 is so versatile. You could make this card and have it ready to go, adding the sticker sentiment at the last minute depending on the occasion. BUT since we are celebrating mom’s Designer Kerri Smith used the mother’s day sentiment from the white and black stickers.

We can’t wait to see what you create with this fabulous system.

You’re Special _______

The great thing about the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system is it’s versatility.  Basicall you can swap ideas that you see here with any of the sentiments OR just make a “You’re Special” card and keep it on hand for any occasion that arises.

Designer Margie Higuchi created this example for us today.

Here are a few tips:

1.) Use the die cut shapes on the Step  Two layers to match and place your sentiment.

2.) Mix and match the Step 3 pearls from other packs.  These pink pearls are found in the Butterfly 2 Shapes & Cupcake Shapes both of which were not used on this card.

3.) Use a SQUARE cardbase! EEEEK! These are so great and not that hard to do. See how Margie used the Step 2 A2 layer and then balanced it with the Border Strips?  Brilliant and EASY!

David Tutera Celebrate Cards

We are here with some inspiration from our David Tutera Design Team. These talented women have been working hard the last few weeks!  Make sure you check out our David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system that is available exclusively at JoAnn Fabric and Craft stores.

Did you know we have a playlist video on our YouTube channel that has tons of videos for this line?  Check them out HERE!

The great thing about this cardmaking line is that you can make easy cards in minutes or you can add your own personal touch like Designer Trine-Brandt Lassen did for us here.  Sunbursts are a hot ticket on layouts and cards right now and the Step 2 layers make it easy to create your own. Since it is already cut to fit the cardbase, all you need to do is cut your strips for the sunburst!

And … notice how  Trine used the backside of the large dot layer?

And Designer Shaunte Wadley created this stunning A7 card that is full of bright colors and tons of layers. Sand them, cut them, stitch them and make them your own!

So much fun, don’t you think???

As you may have heard…we recently released the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system! This unique line allows you to create cards in three simple steps.  Click on the image to the right  of this blog post here to learn more about it! ————>

So how does it work? First select your card base, second add layers for colors and design and then third, embellish. That’ it!

Want to see some designs from our Design Team?

First up, Debbie Standard shows us just how easy it really is…

1) Debbie chose a white A2 cardbase.

2) Then Debbie chose  her layer, the pink dots layer from the Emboss Small Dot Assortment found here in the Step 2 Layers.

3)Finally..embellish with Step 3 Sentiments and Shapes. Banners, tags, die-cut shapes..we have it! And select packs come with string and bling!

Next up we have some cards from Kerri Smith. EEEEEK! I love these tiny hears so much!!!

Just LOVE how Kerri does her embellishment clusters with the die-cuts from Step 3.

And  next up we have Shaunte Wadley. Even though these cards pretty much make themselves, you can still add your twist to them like sewing AND sanding of course

Make sure you check our website here and go to each step. There are THREE steps ….

1.) Pick your card base. You will see A1, A2, A6 A7 and even  SQUARE card bases to choose from in a variety Core’dinations Cardstock.

2.) Add Layers. Hmmm….what is a layer you ask? Once you select your card base, you can add style and color by choosing layers that come in a variety of different colors.  They even come pre-embossed and die-cut so you don’t need to do anything but adhere to your card base. Well, you may want to sand a bit

3.) Embellish. Ah, yes. Stickers and Shapes!  Flowers, butterflies, tags, shells, string, buttons, jewels..you name it we have it for you packed together and ready to mix and match to add that final touch to that perfect card for any occasion.
