Alyssa Sturdivan
My name is Alyssa and I am enjoying life in San Francisco with my wonderful husband. I began paper crafting in 2010 while preparing for my wedding and from there my passion for the art just ran wild. In 2011 I began blogging and started up my stamp line, My Thoughts Exactly Stamps. After graduating college in May of 2012 I have taken up My Thoughts Exactly Stamps and paper crafting full time. My absolute favorite paper craft to make is cards. I probably make cards 98% of the time. While I do enjoy making paper crafts of all kind (especially party decorations when I get the chance!), it just doesn’t get any better than creating personal cards for friends and family. I am so incredibly excited and blessed to be a part of this Core’dinations team!

Courtney Lee
My name is Courtney Lee and I am SO excited to be a part of this team! I am a stay at home mom living in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. I have an amazing husband who supports me. We just had a baby girl (our first child) in August of 2012. I am loving being a new mom! I have been crafting for a little over two years and my obsession with paper and crafting tools has grown each day! I love paper crafting, especially card making. Knowing that someone will be receiving a hand made card in the mail and not just a bill that day brings a smile to my face and hopefully theirs too! Everyone loves happy mail!

Debbie Standard
My name is Debbie Standard. I have been scrapping for about 15 years now. I am a wife, mother to four, step-mother to two more, grandmother to 11 and have a great-granddaughter by my husband’s oldest grandchild. To keep myself in scrapping supplies I work as a Critical Care Nurse in the Surgical/Trauma ICU in a level one trauma center in San Antonio, Texas. I have been doing this for about 18 years now. I am only working part-time now and that gives me more time to spend doing the things I love to do – scrapping, crocheting, running, kayaking and biking. We live on three acres near the Guadalupe River where we built our dream home. I have been published in most all of the US scrapping magazines. I love creating both cards and layouts and luckily have a lot of kids and grand-kids to use for subjects. I have met so many wonderful people through the scrap world who have become my long distance friends. I am on a few more card Design Teams as well so get to spread the Core’dination’s around. I am thrilled to be a part of this creative team. Core’dination’s products are just amazing and I can’t imagine using any other cardstock. There is such a huge selection of products and they are always coming out with something new and different – makes me want to scrap all the time. I am so honored to work with this talented group of women – they are such an inspiration and Core’dination’s staff is just the best!

We have a special announcement to share with you today. We have two new additions to our Design Team!
Without further ado we would like to introduce you to Charolotte Dobson and Vicki Boutin….

Here is a little bit about Charlotte …
Charlotte lives in Winnipeg, MB, Canada and a wife to a great guy and a mom to three awesome kids. She also works half time as an Educational Assistant, so needless to say her life is busy! When she is not working, taxiing her kids around or taking care of household things, you can find her creating cards, layouts and all types of crafty projects. Char started making cards about six years ago and has been scrapbooking for almost two years. She considers paper crafting to be her creative playground. In fact, one of the reasons why Char loves Core’dinations so much is the play factor. They are always coming out with a new line or she is trying a new technique. You never know what she is going do next! She is honored and thrilled to be part of the fabulous design team at Core’dinations.

Here is a little bit about Vickie …
Vicki Boutin comes from a background in graphic design and fine arts and she has always been passionate about creating pretty things! Her love of colour, texture, funky patterns and photography lead her to the discovery of scrapbooking and paper crafting. She has not looked back since!
In 2006 Vicki became a Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame winner and went on to be part of Better Homes and Gardens Scrapbooks Etc’s Creative Team. Her work is currently published in Scrapbooks, Etc and Vicki writes a quarterly article for Scrapbooks and Cards, Today magazine. She enjoys working closely with a number of the industry’s top manufacturers including Sassafras, 7 Gypsies, Basic Grey, Little Yellow Bicycle and Pink Paislee. Vicki is also a Ranger Certified instructor.
Vicki is always on a mission to learn something new and then find a way to share it! That is where teaching comes in! She has taught workshops in the United States, Canada and Europe and loves to approach art in a fun, fresh and accessible way. Her motto is “You don’t know if it’s your style until you try it, so go for it! It’s only a piece of paper!” Her workshops offer an opportunity to meet new friends, try new things and most of all have FUN!!!
Two crazy kids and a straight laced husband keep things interesting in Vicki’s home in Southern Ontario, Canada. At present, Vicki is writing her first technique based book which will be available in 2012.
Congratulations Ladies! Stay tune for some fabulous projects from these ladies tomorrow.

1. What is your most treasured Holiday memory?
One of my most cherished Christmas memories is a bit of a sad one. The year my Dad died Christmas was very quiet there was just my mother, my brother and I. We spend all of Christmas morning in my Mothers bed and my brother and I took turns going down stairs to fetch a gift for each of us from under the tree. It stands out in my mind as really special becuase it was truly one of the most relaxed Christmas’s. It was about comfort and Joy. It was not loud and crazy there were no big meals to plan and no where for us to go. Now don’t get me wrong I love the crazy loud christmas’s. The whole family thing and running around. But this one Christmas, was just what my broken heart needed at the time, A Peaceful, warm and safe white Christmas.
2. Do you have any special Holiday traditions that are unique to you and your family? We have one of the coolest holiday traditions, every year we make Christmas Strawberries. These Tasty treats are mostly made of coconut and are topped with a green cherry and green tooth pick. They are a ton of fun to make with the kids and are delicious. I have never come across anything like them, it has been a secret family recipes for as long as I can remember.
3. What holiday crafts are you creating for this festive season.
This year I have been having so much fun crafting. I have sewed two gifts. {sorry I can’t share those until after christmas, you never know who will see this} I have made an advent Calender and I am hosting a Christmas Card making party at my house this week. On top of that I am doing some fun daily crafts with the kids. We are making Foam snowmen, paper snowflakes, painting toy trains and pipe cleaner garlands. There is an activity for every day in advent.
Here is a layout Lydia did for the Holidays. If you can’t get excited for the Holidays from this sweet face than I don’t think there is hope for you!
