Hi! Ellen here with my take on Lydia’s sketch. Not much time so hurry up and LINK YOURS HERE or share it on our Facebook page!
My Tuesday Tip is all about scraps so keep reading
And in case you missed it…here is the sketch from Designer Lydia Jackson:
Here are some close ups …the first one is of the BasicGrey Core Impressions and some of the scoring with my Score-Pal:
Next up the butterflies…I like to mix up the embossing folders with the dies. Folders are a mix of STampin’ Up! And Darice. Embellies are a mix of Studio Calico and October Afternoon.
AND ..last but not least…
My Tuesday Tip is to use those scraps. Now, if you are like me you need to do this right away or I end up putting them on a pile in my desk. So if I don’t use them on a card or another project immediately then I probably won’t.
So here is my card with my left over butterflies. The base is Pink Paislee Modern Prints Core Impressions and the envelope is from Maya Road. All Adhesives are from 3L and burlap string is from May Arts.

I live in the country and like to use torn paper to represent the fields and hills. I’m glad I found your paper because with other paper I would use ink to hide the white core and it never looks right.
Lisa, we are happy you found and us and cannot wait to see what you create with your Core’dinations and Fiskars goodies. No covering up that inner core anymore!!! Make sure you email us with your information!
Come Back tomorrow for more winners and another BIG give-a-way!!! You won’t want to miss this one. Don’t forget to watch the Embossing Video here leave us a comment and tell us what your FAVORITE line of Core’dinations is to emboss!
A HUGE THANK YOU TO SIZZIX!

Tutorial Tuesday

Today’s Tuesday’s Tutorial comes from Lydia Jackson. Ever wonder how to use your Cuttlebug Embossing folders for a border on a layout? Keep reading…
NOTE: Remember to work from the BACK of the Core’dinations Cardstock because you will be sanding on the front of the paper.

Using a rolling pin and firm pressure, roll over the folder to create the embossed image.

Turn the cardstock over and sand:

Here is the finished layout. Isn’t that border fantastic? NOTE: Notice how Lydia overlapped the corners so you don’t have to worry about them lining up exactly. It adds to the whimsical feel of this adorable layout!

Supplies: Core’dinations Core Essentials, Cuttlebug folders from Provocraft.
