We have been so busy with blog swaps and events that we haven’t had time to share those awesome creations we see all over the web using Core’dinations.

Today we wanted to share with you this awesome layout from Lisa Peeples!  AND how perfect is that scoring with the perfect touch of sanding??? We just love it and purple is hot hot hot right now and with  Core Essentials, you cannot go wrong with finding that perfect color.

Here is a little bit about Lisa and the neat story behind this layout:

My name is Lisa Peeples.  I started scrapbooking 14 years ago when my first son was born. Absolutely love to sit and scrap or make cards.  It is my relaxing therapy time.  I actually made this layout for the daughter of some very dear friends of ours. Having only sons, Casey quickly became the little sister and the daughter that we never had.  She is so sweet and became my scrapbook buddy in Virginia.  She loved to come over and scrap with me and try out all my little gadgets.  When I moved, her parents made a little scrap area for he,r so I decided to make a little wall art for her new space.  I gathered the inspiration for the scored corners from the August 31st entry on the Core’dinations blog.  As soon as I saw Char’s layout I knew I needed to make a layout using the same technique.  I am so thankful for the inspiration I find on this blog!

Happy Friday Everyone! We are back on track with our Fabulous Friday Finds.  About a month or so ago, Jolene Johnston linked our Facebook Page with some amazing cards. I sent her a message asking if we could feature them here on the blog and she said, yes! Well, it gets better….she created a BRAND  new project for us!   So, if you want to see those gorgeous cards click here to go our Facebook Page and check them out. Now let’s check out the amazing details on this layout!

1.) The inking of the embossed dots on the Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions.

2.)  How she mixed the different lines together (Core Essentials, Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions, Black Magic and Chocolate Box)

3.) All the different techniques…punching, embossing, sanding, tearing (see close up below)

4.) AND, yes there’s more if you look closely…Jolene used a neutral piece of Core Essentials as her base for this layout. Remember, Core’dinations Cardstock can be your go to cardstock for all of your needs!

5.) AND Jolene used some awesome stamps (one of my favorites) from our preferred partner myStamp Box!

Fabulous Friday Finds

Today we wanted to showcase this Snowman Card from Sherry Coogan. This is so perfect for this time of year. I was listening to the news the other day and they said that out of the 50 States, 49 of them has some kind of snow! Can you believe that? So, “Let is Snow, Let is Snow, Let is Snow”!

Sherry used Sizzix Argyle and Lines & Circles for the embossing on this card, along with our Whitewash and Core Essentials collections. How great is the little detail where Sherry tore around her sentiment? Perfect!!! Thanks so much for sharing, Sherry.

We are here on another glorious Friday with a great find from Suzanna Lee.

Suzanna used some Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions on this layout featuring her sweet family. From the play on words, to the gorgeous colors this is one FABULOUS layout. Thanks so much for sharing it with us Suzanna! Make sure you check out her blog, she has amazing inspiration there and some Core

Happy Friday!

Today we wanted to share a wonderful layout from Nicole Nowosad. This is such a great example of how Core’dinations can be your “go to” cardstock for any layout or project. Nicole used the Cosmo Cricket Core Impression line for this layout.

I also have to add that I just LOVE this quote. I have it on sticky notes at my desk and in my scrap room. We ALL have the power to be the change that we want to see in the world. Thanks so much for the inspiration, Nicole!

It is the weekend!

And we have a lot to catch up on today. We are finishing up our Stacy Julian week (s) but that doesn’t mean you won’t see more amazing goodies from our team in the future! Thanks so much for celebrating with us.

NOW, it is been WEEKS since we have had a Fabulous Friday Find. Today’s find comes from Rebecca Keppel. Do you see an patterned paper on this layout? Core’dinations makes it so easy to put together clean and simple layouts that are just beautiful and this is no exception. Just a little bit of sanding and voila! You have your background. Who is ready for Halloween???  I know I am and when we came across this adorable from Tobi Crawford over at the SRM Stickers blog, I just had to showcase it here because of the clever use of Core’dinations.

First she used Black Magic for the spider and then, see that curly q along the bottom? I love how she used the Whitewash for that so the Core yellow color that is on the back shows up as it is curled!  Brilliant!

We spotted this gorgeous layout from Linda using this collection. Notice how she tore the cardstock to reveal the core and then Linda accented the beautiful browns with her gorgeous embellishments.

The second one is from Daniela Dobson.  This is just the sweetest project!

Whitewash makes the BEST cards because you have the whitewash on the front and the fabulous color core in the inside of the card!
