We are here at Core’dinations and we spotted this awesome card from Chelsea! So the next big question is, are you team Edward or Jacob?
Either way, Core’dination’s Black Magic Cardstock with a red core is perfect for this genre. Chelsea did some dry embossing and sanded it away to expose the red Core. Add some ribbon and a touch of Edward and you have the perfect way to celebrate the June 30th release of Eclipse.

Have a great weekend!

Well, there is no other way to kick of National Scrapbooking Weekend than with a great layout that we spotted this past week from Suzanna Lee.
The color combo on this layout is striking. Suzanna did just a touch of sanding and some really cool yellow inking. And the Core Impression Cardstock just looks so great against this fab color scheme.
Thanks so much for sharing, Suzanna!

Sophie Sim utilized Chocolate Box cardstock on this great layout from Pink Sketches.
The embossed and sanded frame really draws your eye in to that sweet photo!
Here is a little about the layout in Sophie’s own words:
Title: First Kiss
Journalling: Both of us decided that our 1St kiss wil lbe at the altar. When the momoent finally came, it was humorous when Pastor called for us to kiss twice!
Description: I love the white spaces in this sketch! So this picture was scrapped as I love how the space in the air well of the church building is emphasised by the white space. My Beloved and I decided when we first dated that our first kiss will be at the altar on our wedding day. So when it finally arrived, it was certainly worth the wait! Pastor played along – he actually called us to kiss twice, claiming that he missed it the first time we kissed!

Sometimes you come across amazing projects that you cannot take your eyes off of…and this is one of those. Lesley, who hangs her hat over at Cocoa Daisy, made this stunning box using the Core’dinations Black Magic Collection. It really showcases the core of the cardstock and how you can accent it so easily with just tearing your shapes right out of the paper.
Thanks for letting us share your creation, Lesely!

Do you have a Dymo Labeler? I know I don’t and I am kicking myself right now.
I just love this technique and Core’dinations Cardstock is perfect for it! Thanks so much for Megan Smith who did this tutorial on how to thread your strips of Core’dinations through your Dymo Labeler.
It’s this easy!

And a close up of the strips after you sand them:

Finally, add them to your layout and you have a unique way to journal on any layout or project.
