Stacked Stars 4th of July Decor

Are you ready for the 4th of July? Need a little bit more red, white, & blue in your decor? Today I’m going to show you how simple and quick these Stacked Stars are to make, for the 4th of July.

Stacked Stars 4th of July Decor Supplies:

Step 1. Use the Assorted Stars Embossing Folder and embossing machine to emboss your blue cardstock.

Step 2. Pull the blue cardstock out of the embossing folder.

Step 3. Use the Sand It Gadget to lightly distress the top of the stars.

Step 4. Turn over the blue star embossed cardstock. Use your pencil to trace the front of the star onto the back of the cardstock.

Step 5. Cut out your star.

Step 6. Squeeze some wood glue onto the front of the star and use the foam brush to spread it evenly on the star.

Step 7. Place the cardstock star onto the front of the star. Make sure to smooth it out well over the glue.

Step 8. Follow steps 4-7 to add paper to the front of the other stars.

Step 9. Stack your stars together.

Step 10. Tie jute twine around the stack of stars.

You’re all finished and ready to add these fun stars to your other red, white, & blue decor.

Happy Fourth of July!

Here in the States we are CeLeBraTiNg the Fourth of July, our Independence Day.

We are kicking off this week with a fabulous layout from April Derrick using the Fabulous Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions. Don’t you love how April used the large scalloped sheet? Fabulous!  And that strip of photos???? Love it!

And Debbie Standard created this gorgeous card using stamps and Core’dinations. The Woodgrain Embossing folder from Tim Holtz is perfect for the background for the cute little birdhouse.

Have a wonderful Holiday and be safe!
