Fabulous Friday “Facebook” Finds

Good Morning! Today we have a few layouts to share with you featuring the old school Crumpling technique.  Core’dinations cardstock is just perfect for technique and it is an easy way to add texture and show off that beautiful inner core.

AND today’s post is inspired by one of our FABULOUS Facebook Fans, Mary Pat Siehl! We just love this technique here at Core and when I saw this layout on Facebook, I knew we had to do a post here and Mary Pat was gracious enough to let us use her layout.

You can see her layout here on our Facebook page, too.

Here are a few from our Design Team using the same technique.

First up is a layout from Cari Locken. Love how she mixed the Core Essentials (crumpled) with the Graphic 45 Core Impressions and Whitewash!

And next up is a layout from Char Dobson, again, using a fun mix of product and technique!

How cool does that Whitewash look???

Have a great weekend!

We hope this week is going to be a great one for you. Today we wanted to showcase a few projects using different lines of Core’dinations. The great thing about our cardstock is that you can mix and match our lines to create unique, one of a kind projects.

Each line core’dinates with the others! So get out that Core Impressions and Core Amour and that Vintage and Core Essentials and get ready to be inspired.

If this card by Design Team member Heather Bowser doesn’t get your week started of brilliantly than I don’t know what will. Check out the mix of textures and different Core’dinations cardstock (Vintage, Core Essentials, Stacy Julian Core Impressions).

And for this layout, Design Team Member Cari Locken uses Graphic 45 Core Impressions (background), Core Amour (striped strips along the top and bottom) and Core Essentials.

Have you seen our video on paper tearing?  It is such a simple and effective way to add texture and release that gorgeous inner core!

Have a great week. I have a busy day today picking our winners from our Facebook give-a-way  last week and this weekend so stay tuned for some announcements!

Tuesday’s Tip….Title Work And Cardstock

Today’s Tip is about different ways you can use cardstock for your title. We love to show you how versatile Core’dinations can be using its color core but you can use it as your “go to” cardstock for any project. Today’s layout from Design Team Member is no exception.   We have a great layout for you today that doesn’t use sanding! GASP! Yes, we said it…you don’t always need to sand your Core’dinations. It looks awesome both ways!

Now on to the tip from Design Team Member Heather Boswer. Heather created her layout using a tone on tone color scheme by using a die cutting machine to cut her title.  It looks awesome! What a gorgeous and easy way to add a unique touch to any layout.

Supplies used: Core Essentials and Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions.

We would love to see how you use your cardstock for titles!

Mixing it up….

Happy Thursday everyone. Today’s post is about mixing our Core Impressions lines with patterned paper. The great thing about these paper packs is that they are cardstock yet they can work just like patterned paper.

For instance, this layout by Design Team Member Kandis Smith. Notice how she uses the Damask print from the Graphic 45 Timeless Core Impressions line.  She paired with some October Afternoon papers that have a completely different pattern. And check out that little strip of Gemstone. Perfect!

Also on this layout from our preferred partners: Queen & Co. Gemstones and Maya Road Chipboard.

And here is card from Kandis using the Stacy Julian Core Impressions dot cardstock. Who needs patterned paper when you’ve got this collection in your stash? Paired with the Graphic 45 tags and some Core Essentials, you’ve got a match made in heaven.

And one last example from Kandis. Check out this layout with the Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions against the graphic prints!  And of course that cute smile doesn’t hurt ;) We would love to see how you used your Core Impressions!!! Make sure you link us up on our Facebook page or in the comments here.

Have a GREAT week!

Of our Graphic45 blog Swap. Have been over to the Graphic45 Blog  yet???  They have some amazing creations from their Design Team and I know they are giving away some goodies, too!

Today’s theme revolves around Houndstooth. We love it here! Can you tell from these layouts? Just another reason the Core Impressions Graphic 45 Timeless Collection should be a staple in your scrabpooking supplies. AND it isn’t too late to add it to your Christmas Wish List.

First up today we have layout from Lydia Jackson that is so festive!   How cute is the title in the shape of a Christmas Tree?

Next up we have another Christmas themed layout from Debbie Standard featuring some gorgeous stitching and other fabulous Graphic 45  details.

And Paula Gilarde used her Graphi45 for a Fall layout. Check out how she layered the Graphi45 tags and her title!

And another Fall layout from Melissa Oliveira.  The versatility of the Graphic 45 lines are so great!

Have a GREAT day! ONE more day tomorrow of some fabulous Graphic 45 and Core’dinations Projects.

We are half way there….

on our adventure with Graphic 45. Are you having fun yet? Have you been inspired? Make sure you leave a comment and let us know. You can comment EVERY day (on that day’s individual post)  for up to five chances to win! In case you are just joining us for the first time this week, that’s okay! We are celebrating the partnering of Graphic 45 and Core’dinations Core Impressions from Graphic 45. We will be here all week!

First up on today’s inspiration list are two gorgeous cards from Heather Bowser. Heather uses the houndstooth print with the cardstock on the front and then repeats it on the inside with the Graphic 45 paper. The shape is beautiful and we love how she accented it with some green Core Impressions Cardstock.

Don’t be afraid to mix prints like Heather did with the Graphic 45 patterned paper and the embossed clocks.

And check out this beauty from Sarah Hodgkinson. She is the epitome of timeless, just like the Graphic 45 papers and Timeless Core Impression lines. Sarah created her using Quickutz Dies and gently sanding the background of the Core’dinations Core Impressions.

Have a GREAT day! We hope you are enjoying yourselves this week!

Graphic 45 Take Two!

Yes, yes. We are on to day TWO of our blog swap with Graphic 45 and I don’t know about you but we are having FUN! Make sure you check our their blog and the cool Graphic 45 Core Impression line from Core’dinations.

Don’t forget to leave a comment to win some of our FABULOUS cardstock!!!!!

So…yesterday we did cards…how about some layouts today???

Here is a layout from Cari Locken.  Cari really lets the cardstock be the standout of this layout. She combined the clock paper and the houndstooth and some striped Onyx cardstock. I love how they contrast each other yet work together to make a cohesive layout. And how cool is that pop of teal???

Next up is a layout from Hera Frei.  Hera used the neutral background with a pop of color, too, this time adding some of the gorgeous Graphic 45 papers!  I bet you are wondering why Hera took a photo of a bus. Well, Hera lives in Switzerland and there aren’t school buses! Everyone lives within walking distance from their schools so when her and her family saw this school bus while vacationing in Canada, she had to snap a photo. Her boys were intrigued by the idea that all the kids can ride together.

And Lydia Jackson worked the Graphic 45 on here! First off, how cool is that photo of her face painting? I love the tone on tone with the pops of orange.

See you tomorrow with more projects!
