We have one of these awesome packs for grabs, too! Our Signature Series Cardstock...it’s FabUlous! In the past we have teamed up with Graphic 45 for our Core Impressions and this past summer we debuted the Signature Series. Now you can get the gorgeous Graphic 45 designs on our cardstock AND their “signature” colors! So if you have loads of Graphic 45 sitting at home waiting to be used, this pack of cardstock will match perfectly.
AND of course we are giving one away here!!! Make sure you head over to the Graphic 45 Blog for more chances to win!
AND we always do a little something over on our Facebook page, too, so make sure you check in there often. Graphic 45 has a Facebook page so make sure you go over there and tell them how much you looooove them AND THAT WE SENT YOU:):):)

We have a super cool layout for you from Design Team Member Melissa Oliveira to start off today.
Melissa sanded the clocks from the Graphic 45 Timeless collection and then inked them in a “core”dinating color, just looks awesome and makes those clocks really pop, don’t you think?

Melissa colored in the clock hands with a black zig milennium pen then added a thin layer of glossy accents and allowed it to dry to make them really shine.
Add some May Arts ribbon and you have a gorgeous layout.
Next up Design Team Member Leica Forrest created this gorgeous box and mini album for a future trip to Paris! A girl can dream, right??!?! That is the beauty about the Graphic 45 papers. They take you to another place with their gorgeous Parisian themes and images of fairy tales and all things beautiful.

We want you hear how excited you are!

Today we have some gorgeous projects for you! Let’s Start off with a Layout from Design Team Member Shaunte Wadley. So many gorgeous gorgeous details! Shaunte used loads of Graphic 45 products and anchored the layout beautifully with some Core Impression in the Black Magic. Hand cutting that Graphic 45 paper is TOO much fun! Don’t be afraid to use metal accents on your layouts like Shaunte did here with the flowers from the Graphic 45 Staples.

Next up we have a mini album from Design Team Member Lydia Jackson. Lydia created this mini as a gift for a friend. What better way to share the Graphic 45 love than with the most important people in our lives? It is the perfect way to preserve those memories.
There is that cool Door Knob from the Graphic 45 Staples collection. And the Graphic 45 Core Impressions Timeless Collection is, well, TIMELESS! It goes with so many different colors and we just love how Lydia paired it with the blue.

First up we have a card and layout from Design Team Member Debbie Standard.
Debbie used some Graphic 45 papers and Core Impressions and the gorgeous metal flowers from Graphic 45. They are the perfect embellishment for any project!

And Check out this box from Designer Andrea Amu!!!
It’s gorgeous gorgeous…SO many amazing details…
Andrea used the Signature Series Cardstock on this altered box and some Tim Holtz Kraft Core (red). She painted it, crackled it and how about that ornate Graphic 45 door knob! And you need some great adhesive for this kind of project, too, and Glue Arts works perfectly.
COOOOOOL! What better way to store your scrappy mags???

Andrea used her Cricut Botanicals cartridge for the designs on this box.
Scrapfest Tutorial

Thank you so much to everyone at Scrapfest for an awesome weekend!!!
Today we have a tutorial for you on how to make the project we did over the weekend in case you didn’t get a chance to visit us or you want to recreate it. Don’t forget that Arhivers in the MOA is selling the easels and wood bases in case you want extras.
1.) Cut the base from Graphic 45 Core Impressions.
2.) Using a corner round, punch all four corners and then sand.
3.) Adhere to wood base with some Tombow Mono Liquid Adhesive.
4.) Score lines on the Tim Holtz Dusty Concord cardstock strip from the Distressed Collection. Sand and adhere to Graphic 45 Core Impressions base.
5.) Fold the green Core Essentials cardstock in half and cut two leaves along the folded edge (See step by step photos below). We recommend free handing it!!!!
Now it is time to make the flower. We like to call them Core’Sages here

Design Team Member Lydia Jackson created a tutorial here for the flowers for your reference as well. (Please note the flowers shown here were created from a different color Core Essentials and Lydia used her Fiskars Paper Crimper to create the veins in the leaf).

Again, please note... For these photos Lydia used her Fiskars Paper Crimper. You do NOT need
it for this project. Just sand your leaf along the fold for the vein. This just gives it added texture. You could always score some of your own veins, too!

Now, clip your favorite photo or ink the edges of the frame and you have the perfect project!

Again many many many many thanks to all the amazing consumers we met and saw again this weekend.
WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Good Morning!
Today we have another Designer Spotlight featuring Hera Frei! We wanted to showcase each of our outgoing Design Team Members over the next few weeks with some of their favorite Core’dinations Projects. Here is Hera’ blog if you want to go check it out, she has some amazing project on there, too, especially loads of Core’dinations!.
Here is a little something from Hera in her own words:
I still remember the day almost two years ago when i received the email asking me to become a design team member of Core’dinations Cardstock. stunned and shocked were my first reactions, overjoyed screaming and yelling shortly followed. to say it has been a dream would be an understatement – it has been an amazing time where i have not only been overwhelmed with wonderful product but have also come to know a great team of uber-talented crafters.
Here are a few of Hera’s favorite layouts. She has such a cool and simple style that just shows off Core’dinations beautifully!

Good Morning! Today we have a few layouts to share with you featuring the old school Crumpling technique. Core’dinations cardstock is just perfect for technique and it is an easy way to add texture and show off that beautiful inner core.
AND today’s post is inspired by one of our FABULOUS Facebook Fans, Mary Pat Siehl! We just love this technique here at Core and when I saw this layout on Facebook, I knew we had to do a post here and Mary Pat was gracious enough to let us use her layout.

You can see her layout here on our Facebook page, too.
Here are a few from our Design Team using the same technique.
First up is a layout from Cari Locken. Love how she mixed the Core Essentials (crumpled) with the Graphic 45 Core Impressions and Whitewash!

And next up is a layout from Char Dobson, again, using a fun mix of product and technique!
How cool does that Whitewash look???

Have a great weekend!

We hope this week is going to be a great one for you. Today we wanted to showcase a few projects using different lines of Core’dinations. The great thing about our cardstock is that you can mix and match our lines to create unique, one of a kind projects.
Each line core’dinates with the others! So get out that Core Impressions and Core Amour and that Vintage and Core Essentials and get ready to be inspired.
If this card by Design Team member Heather Bowser doesn’t get your week started of brilliantly than I don’t know what will. Check out the mix of textures and different Core’dinations cardstock (Vintage, Core Essentials, Stacy Julian Core Impressions).

And for this layout, Design Team Member Cari Locken uses Graphic 45 Core Impressions (background), Core Amour (striped strips along the top and bottom) and Core Essentials.
Have you seen our video on paper tearing? It is such a simple and effective way to add texture and release that gorgeous inner core!

Have a great week. I have a busy day today picking our winners from our Facebook give-a-way last week and this weekend so stay tuned for some announcements!
Tuesday’s Tip….Title Work And Cardstock

Today’s Tip is about different ways you can use cardstock for your title. We love to show you how versatile Core’dinations can be using its color core but you can use it as your “go to” cardstock for any project. Today’s layout from Design Team Member is no exception. We have a great layout for you today that doesn’t use sanding! GASP! Yes, we said it…you don’t always need to sand your Core’dinations. It looks awesome both ways!
Now on to the tip from Design Team Member Heather Boswer. Heather created her layout using a tone on tone color scheme by using a die cutting machine to cut her title. It looks awesome! What a gorgeous and easy way to add a unique touch to any layout.

Supplies used: Core Essentials and Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions.
We would love to see how you use your cardstock for titles!
Mixing it up….

Happy Thursday everyone. Today’s post is about mixing our Core Impressions lines with patterned paper. The great thing about these paper packs is that they are cardstock yet they can work just like patterned paper.
For instance, this layout by Design Team Member Kandis Smith. Notice how she uses the Damask print from the Graphic 45 Timeless Core Impressions line. She paired with some October Afternoon papers that have a completely different pattern. And check out that little strip of Gemstone. Perfect!

Also on this layout from our preferred partners: Queen & Co. Gemstones and Maya Road Chipboard.
And here is card from Kandis using the Stacy Julian Core Impressions dot cardstock. Who needs patterned paper when you’ve got this collection in your stash? Paired with the Graphic 45 tags and some Core Essentials, you’ve got a match made in heaven.

And one last example from Kandis. Check out this layout with the Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions against the graphic prints! And of course that cute smile doesn’t hurt
We would love to see how you used your Core Impressions!!! Make sure you link us up on our Facebook page or in the comments here.

Have a GREAT week!
