Bonus Day with Scor-Pal

Scoring, then sanding with Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock is the only way to go. We hope that you have found some new and exciting ways use your Scor-Pal.

They SIMPLY rockYou know we always have something up our sleeve for you when we do these fun blog events so keep commenting for a chance to win some great Core’dinations Cardstock!

Design Team Member April Derrick created this cool envelope for her layout to keep Core Tags with her journaling and some photos. Brilliant!

Beautiful LO~ I like the whitewash cause it gives such a ‘weathered’ feel to my projects. I have only seen it in individual sheets and was wondering does it come in pads also? Thanks for sharing

Now let’s get today’s giveaway!

Today is all about Graphic 45 Core Impressions Timeless Collection.

We think this collection is timeless and is always one of our favorites! You can use it with your favorite Graphic 45 products or pair it with what you have in your stash like Design Team Member Debbie Standard did for us today!

Love the use of ribbon on this card from Debbie. She combines lace and satin trim and of course the Le Fleur and Houndstooth patterns.

See you tomorrow!

Tuesday Tip From Melissa Oliveira

We have some fun tips from Design Team Member Melissa Oliveira.

Even though these layouts have a summer theme to them doesn’t mean you can’t use these tips for any project.

First up Melissa stamped on her Whitewash for this journaling. If you have used our cardstock before, you know it gets a bit dusty  when you sand it. First up, you really should have a Sand it Gadget to make your sanding easy. After that, you want to use our Dust Buddy.

The Dust Buddy is a unique cloth that does many things, including cleaning the sanding residue so your adhesives can stick better. One additional thing it does is make your stamped images crisper and cleaner as seen on Melissa’s layout here. If you sanded this Whitewash and didn’t use a Dust Buddy,  the stamped imaged wouldn’t be as great.  So make sure you tell your favorite Core’dinations Cardstock retailer to get some Dust Buddies. They go a long way, too!

And here is another example of a layout where Melissa stamped over some Graphic 45 Core Impressions. And of course, how cool are those torn waves in the Whitewash????

The Grande Finale with Graphic 45

Today is our last day with Graphic 45 but that doesn’t mean that you won’t see more Graphic goodness here in the future. Don’t forget that we have one of these awesome packs for grabs, too! Our Signature Series Cardstock...it’s FabUlous! In the past we have teamed up with Graphic 45 for our Core Impressions and this past summer we debuted the Signature Series. Now you can get the gorgeous Graphic 45 designs on our cardstock AND their “signature” colors! So if you have loads of Graphic 45 sitting at home waiting to be used, this pack of cardstock will match perfectly.

AND of course we are giving one away here!!! Make sure you head over to the Graphic 45 Blog for more chances to win!

AND we always do a little something over on our Facebook page, too, so make sure you check in there often. Graphic 45 has a Facebook page so make sure you go over there and tell them how much you looooove them :) :):)

We have some amazing altered pieces for you today.

First up is an album AND matching frame set from Design Team Member Char Dobson. LOVE how these ladies worked the metal door plates from Graphic 45 Staples collection!!!! LOOK at all that Graphic 45 Core Impressions Timeless collection! We love how our Cardstock looks with shine so Char used some Maya Mist …looks gorgeous, don’t you think?

{Sigh} Paris!

Here are some details on the album. The album is Graphic 45. These premade Policy Envelopes from the Staples collection make creating minis so easy!!!! Char used Glue Arts and Helmar Adhesives to help create this gorgeous mini, too.

AND a printer’s tray with Designer April Derrick. The details are amazing.

Some details…

April die cut out the treasures title using  the Graphic 45 Signature Series cardstock and then applied glossy accents to the top so when it dried it has a 3-d effect.

Them April took the metal flowers from Graphic 45 Staples collection and ran them through the Cuttlebug and embossed them, then painted them with some Tattered Angels silver metallic glimmer glaze!  And add some Petaloo flowers. Love them in black.

We have a super cool layout for you from Design Team Member Melissa Oliveira to start off today.

Melissa sanded the clocks from the Graphic 45 Timeless collection and then inked them in a “core”dinating color, just looks awesome and makes those clocks really pop, don’t you think?

Melissa colored in the clock hands with a black zig milennium pen then added a thin layer of glossy accents and allowed it to dry to make them  really shine.

Add some May Arts ribbon and you have a gorgeous layout.

Next up Design Team Member Leica Forrest created this gorgeous box and mini album for a future trip to Paris! A girl can dream, right??!?!  That is the beauty about the Graphic 45 papers. They take you to another place with their gorgeous Parisian themes and images of fairy tales and all things beautiful.

We want you hear how excited you are!

Today we have some gorgeous projects for you! Let’s Start off with a Layout from Design Team Member Shaunte Wadley. So many gorgeous gorgeous details!  Shaunte used loads of Graphic 45 products and anchored the layout  beautifully with some Core Impression in the Black Magic.  Hand cutting that Graphic 45 paper is TOO much fun! Don’t be afraid to use metal accents on your layouts like Shaunte did here with the flowers from the Graphic 45 Staples.

Next up we have a mini album from Design Team Member  Lydia Jackson.  Lydia created this mini as a gift for a friend. What better way to share the Graphic 45 love than with the most important people in our lives?  It is the perfect way to preserve those memories.

There is that cool Door Knob from the Graphic 45 Staples collection. And the Graphic 45 Core Impressions Timeless Collection is, well, TIMELESS! It goes with so many different colors and we just love how Lydia paired it with the blue.
