White on White Monochromatic cards

I think my new favorite color is white…is that possible?!?!?

Shaunte Wadley created these beauties for us today…wowzas! Creating dramatic monochromatic projects is so easy with Core because you can mix and match the different lines for some sparkle…emboss for some texture and you have the perfect card.  For each card, I listed the  lines she used so you can look closely and see beautiful details. Little things like different embossed layers, pearls and stitching make all the difference.

For more monochromatic ideas check out a post we did a few weeks ago HERE.

Card One is the simpliest with a David Tutera Cardmaking system white smooth cardbase, Core Essentials white, and the butterfly is Core Couture.

Card two: start with a David Tutera Cardmaking system white cardbase and emboss it.  Then add a strip of Core Couture with die cut letters, then emboss some Core Essentials white in another strip. Stitch together. Then add butterflies laong the top in Glitter Silk and a strip along the bottom from Step 3 of the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system.

Again, starting with a David Tutera Celebrate cardmaking system smooth white cardbase, emboss a layer in white Core Essentials. Adhere with Helmar Zap dotsafter punching a hole in the side, add white heart on a string from Glitter Silk Cardstock, finish by creating some embossed strips along the bottom with scalloped pieces, an embossed strip from Core Couture and a banner created using a Dymo Label maker.

Did you know we have  a video on how to create with your Label Maker?  Check it out HERE!

Today we have Five Easy Cards from Design Team Member Char Dobson! Don’t have a lot of time? With Christmas just around the corner, things seem to just get busier and busier.  Keep reading to see how you can make a few cards in no time at all. Here are the supplies she used:

Core Cards, Core Cut & Emboss Series 4.25″x5.5″ (various)

Helmar: 3D Zapdots, Quickfix Adhesive Runner

Preferred partners: Helmar, May Arts ribbon, Queen&Co. rhinestones

Other supplies: Cricut Teresa Collins December 25 cartridge, Tim Holtz Christmas muse tokens, Embossing folders (various)
Here is a little bit about this project from Char:
Today we’re going to make five easy cards in about an hour. Using the Core’dinations Cut & Emboss series, Core cards, a few minor embellishments and Helmar adhesives you can throw together some adorable die-cut cards in a snap.
The thing I love about the Cut&Emboss series is that not only are these sizes perfect for card bases and embossing, but they are great to use with your Cricut or other die-cut machine. I don’t know about you, but I hate it when I have only a smaller design to cut into a precious piece of 12″x12″ piece cardstock. With Cut&Emboss I can put all the colours I want on one mat.
Already, you can see how quick these cards are going to come together. All I have to do is emboss, adhere and add embellishments.
And we’re done! How quick was that!? How about some close-ups:

And our Jenni Bowlin  MINI Calendar Cards look so awesome on cards!

We will start off from a gorgeous layout from Design Team member Cari Locken featuring an awesome mix of our different collections. She included the Core Amour Onyx Collection, Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions, Vintage and Core Jenni Bowlin Impressions.

Here is a close-up of how Cari cut the Jenni Bowlin letters from the alpha cardstock and raised them with the Helmar Zap dots:

Next up Design team member Sarah Hodginkson has some super cute invites with Helmar Zap dots, tape runner and SRM STickers and Core Essentials Cardstock:

A super cool layout from Design Team Member Hera Frei (even thought it’s about getting stuck in a Hurricane!). Hera adhered the clouds in various layers with Helmar Zap dots and used her Helmar Tape Runner. Also Hera used the  Core Impressions for the clouds. SO easy…just punch them out and they are embossed and ready to go!

And a card from Design Team member Ellen Sosnoski using some, yep! You guessed it…Helmar Zap dots on the sentiment and 450 Quick Dry Adhesive for the tag and ribbon (also a mix of Vintage Cardstock and Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions):

We will choose a random winner from all the comments this weekend. Thanks so much!
