1. What is your most treasured Holiday memory?
When my grandparents could spend Christmas with our family and meet our oldest child. That was the only one that they were able to see in person. So I treasure that memory!

2. Do you have any special Holiday traditions that are unique to you and your family?
We like to do an advent calendar every year. Chopping down our own Christmas tree. Baking and eating certain foods only at this time of year.
Well, we just started this but it will be a fun tradition to continue for many years. We were given a pickle tree ornament. You hang it on the tree on Christmas Eve and the 1st child to find it on the tree (in the morning) gets an extra present! … and trust me -this thing is hard to find!

3. What kind of {scrapbooking} projects are you creating this year for this Holiday Season?
I made christmas cards this year but nothing else. That was it!

Cari is sharing this beautiful card with us today. The white cardstock and embossing is really classic…a perfect way to ring in the new year.

We’re counting down until the New Year…

1. What is your most treasured Holiday memory? It had to be when I had all my kids together at the house with all the grandkids.

2. Do you have any special Holiday traditions that are unique to you and your family? The kids always open a package after church on Christmas Eve service. They laid out cookies and milk for Santa. I decorate the outside of the house like the Grizwalds – about 50+ strands of lights. I have tons of Christmas decorations.

3. What kind of {scrapbooking} projects are you creating this year for this Holiday Season?
I am (still) working on two mini albums for my nieces for Christmas. I make around 50 Christmas cards for family and all the people I work with.

Christmas is here!

Wishing everyone a Wonderful, Happy and Safe Holiday Season!!!

We have arrived to the big day and Paula Gilarde is sharing a little bit about herself with us on this very special day…

1. What is your most treasured Holiday memory? Growing up in Ireland the day after Christmas is an even bigger celebration than Christmas itself. It’s called the Wren’s Day and people used to dress up in crazy costumes and go around from house to house entertaining people, kind of like Halloween but with wackier costumes and less candy

2. Do you have any special Holiday traditions that are unique to you and your family? We celebrate with my husbands family on Christmas Eve – it’s a large gathering with 15 kids and ends up being a lot of fun. I don’t know that we have any traditions that are unique to us but we do have a few things that we like to do every year for Christmas – go look at lights, have breakfast with Santa, bake cookies, decorate the tree etc – all the usual things.

3. What kind of {scrapbooking} projects are you creating this year for this Holiday Season? I made a mini-album of photos and out-takes from my Christmas card photo shoot for the first 5 years. It was a lot of fun to put together.
