Fabulous Friday Finds

Well, today I decided to do something a little bit different with our Friday Finds and go through our very own Design Team gallery and find some projects the team did for the blog that never made it here. Remember about a year ago when we had that fun product trade with Imaginisce? It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year!

While going through that gallery, I found beautiful layout from Hera Frei. If you check out Hera’s bio here on our Design Team page, you will see that she is originally from New Zealand. Well, if you have been watching the news, you will know that Christschurch was hit hard by the earthquake.  I emailed Hera right away and she reported that her family is okay but as you know, that area suffered major devastation.  I know this week, my thoughts I have been with them.

Have a safe and happy weekend!

Check out the random embossing on Hera’s page in the corners. Hera used her Quickutz tool…it’s such a fun and easy technique!

Papers and embellishments Imaginisce, Core’dinations Cardstock used is Core Essentials.

It’s a Card-a-licious Weekend!

Today we are celebrating our love of cards. The Design Team creates so many gorgeous cards every week. Here are a few…

The colors on this birthday card from Paula Gilarde are just gorgeous. These new Stacy Julian papers are going to brighten up everyone’s day for sure.

And Kandis Smith utilizing some softer colors on this card with some Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions and Imaginisce papers.

And last but not least, Linda Beeson uses soft embossing on Vintage Cardstock for some corner detail on this gorgeous card.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Boy did we have fun last week! Thank you, thank you for all of your wonderful comments.  Reading them was a lot of fun and we enjoy your feedback. We will post a winner tomorrow of the wonderful give-a-way so stay tuned for that.

I will leave you with to more projects we spotted in the gallery with some Imaginisce and Core’dinations. These are just bright and summery, just like the weather here today!

Here Frei used a fun mix of Vintage Cardstock and Jenni Bowlin Core Impresions on this layout {and take note how she printed direction on her Core’dinations cardstock}:

And this card by Debbie Standard is just loaded with amazing details! From the layered Spellbinders die-cuts, to the stamping and sanding, you can’t take your eye off of this one!
