Let’s say howdy to Jennifer Edwardson!
Hey everyone, i’m Jennifer Edwardson and like most, I began scrapbooking shortly after the birth of my daughter in 2000 and never looked back. I’ve been creative my whole life and loved back to school shopping the most….all the paper and crayons and color – love, love loved it !!
Shortly after my 2nd child was born …. (like REALLY shortly – he was just 9 mos. old – CRAZY !!!) …. I decided it’d be cool to open a business, so I did…….and have had my own successful LSS since 2006.
I am so fortunate to get to do what I love every day …… I have extensive instruction and design experience that has allowed me to travel and share my passion with many. My work has been featured on manufacturers blogs as a Guest Designer, i’ve created projects for CHA, have been a member of the Bella Blvd. Design Team for the past 2 years, am on the David Tutera Celebrate Design Team, am an American Crafts Certified Instructor and now cannot wait to share my creativity with you during my time on the new Core’dinations Design Team (yep – super EXCITED !!)
When I am not running the day to day operations of my business or designing a fun new workshop, you can find me spending time with my husband, Scott, children Emma and Alex, our 2 crazy puppies and our horses on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada !!

Today we are introducing Tracy Gruber!
AND IT’S HER BIRTHDAY!
Hello! My name is Tracy and I have been crafting since I was a little girl. I started scrapbooking when I was in high school and card-making about 3 years ago. I am currently going to college for Graphic Design and work part-time at a local scrapbooking store. I have been published a couple of times and also have an Etsy shop where I sell handmade banners and cards. Paper-crafting is such an awesome hobby because I am able to preserve memories while expressing my creativity! When I’m not crafting, I enjoy spending time with my family, rollerblading playing tennis, and shopping. I am so excited to be a part of the Core’dinations design team and use the best card stock on the planet!
Make sure you check out Tracy’s Blog HERE for more inspiration and keep reading to learn more about her layout today.
I love using bright colors on my layouts! I cut banners out of different colored Core’dinations cardstocks and sanded them for some added texture. I also used dies to cut out the hearts and flowers and sanded them as well. I thought the Core Tags would be a cool way to display all of my photos on the layout, I just had to trim the bottoms off of them a bit.
Very Pretty page. I love your color choices. The blue and teals
really make that photo pop. Welcome to the team Heather.
Today’s giveaway is……a Brights Collection Pack!
Please note we will only be posting Monday through Friday. We will pick a random winner the following morning (or Monday if it is the weekend) to win a pack of Core’dinations Cardstock. But for today…I have a 6×6 layout for you from Designer April Derrick using the Tim Holtz KRaft Core 6×6 paper pad.
Don’t you looooooove 6×6 layouts?
Designer April Derrick has an awesome tutorial for us on this fine Tuesday featuring TONS of Tim Holtz Shattered cardstock. it is so versatile and this entire layout is cardstock!
First up, take your Crafter’s Workshop stencil and trace the template:
Next, using your craft knife, cut along the pencil lines:
You will already begin to see the gorgeous sunburst shape!
Now it is time to sew. Stitching on layotus never gets old! Layer the No. 7 Shattered cardstock on the No. 15 and you have a really great contrasting look.
And now for the final layout. April added some embellishments and a Step Two layer from David Tutera Celebrate cardmaking system. LOVE that postage stamp layer…it looks GREAT on layouts, too!
Did you check your email? We released the BRAND NEW Tim Holtz Shattered Collection. It comes in 24 gorgeous colors with a very cool shattered design. WARNING: Once you see this cardstock and get to try it, you won’t want to put it down. We thought we should be clear on that

Want to see more? Check out this video from Tim describing in detail all the cool details HERE on our YouTube channel. You won’t want to miss it. All of the distressing is done for you….no crumpling or sanded needed! Though we do still recommend it
Well, Monday is Christmas Eve so this will be our last post for awhile we spend some time with our families, celebrate old traditions and create new ones of our own.
Be Safe, be Happy and be Merry!
We leave you today with a layout from Designer Char Dobson that celebrates all of these things:
Char used some Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Seasonal Impressions and paired it with some Jenni Bowlin Vintage Brights.
Love all the May Arts Ribbon Char added, too! Looks like a candy cane.
