Goooood Monday Morning!
We are up bright and early to bring you some Core’dinations and Glue Arts projects.
But first we have some winners to announce, right???? (Please note: we will post WCMD winner & October Colour Lover’s Challenge tomorrow)
We have FOUR winners to announce from our Spellbinders trade last week.
So without further ado the winners are…….
Two winners from posting here on the Core blog:
Skeeter Horne says:
Love the project-cant wait to make this.
Kelly Massman says:
These are darling!
Facebook: Amy Brock Coose: Looking forward to some great projects this week!
Random post was Brianne Nevill’s blog:
Marge R. (mer) said…Ohhh what spooky FUN!!! I totally have the perfect place for these and NEED them!!! They’re ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your address (phone numbers if you are international) so we can get your prizes out as soon as possible.
Now it’s time for some Glue Arts!
Make sure you head over to the Glue Arts blog for some awesome projects from their Design Team. They are also introducing a new product, Glue Glider Pro PLUS and they are doing 10 days of give-a-ways over there!!! And they have a GrEaT Facebook page, too, make sure you head over there as well.
And, YES, we are giving away ANOTHER pack of Core for one lucky winner that posts here on the blog this week!!!
Today we have some designs from Ellen Sosnoski.
I love taking my projects off the page and you must have a good adhesive to be able to do just that.
And next up I created a card using some Pink Paislee Core Impressions and a Core Tag in Pastels (I looooove these!!!) I was over at their Live Pink (The Pink Paislee forum) this weekend and played along with some of their WCMD challenges to upcycle so I used a rubon applicator.
This is the best part. I used some UCut it Foam Adhesive, of course, and ONE adhesive square for the rubon applicator! I only needed one that is how tacky they are. I put it right under the ribbon knot and it’s not going anywhere.
See you tomorrow!
We are here all week long with Glue Arts!
Today we have some My Mind’s Eye inspiration from Design Team Member Andrea Amu.
Check out the My Mind’s Eye Core Impression pack here. You will looooooove it!!!!
This color combo is gorgeous, don’t you think?
And some gorgeous details…..
Love the detailed sanding and Dimensional Pearls…
April Derrick is at it again!
Check out her blog here for a super cool tutorial on how to make a cool background with Core’dinations, Distress Stains and WATER!
You don’t want to miss this…
It’s super easy and effective and, of course, it looks awesome with My Mind’s Eye Core Impressions. The pre-embossed patterns
pick up the Distress Stains beautifully. And don’t forget that Sand It Gadget for all your sanding needs.
So click here to go to April’s blog to see how THIS…
Have a GREAT day!!!
This week we have a fun week in store for you….we are introducing our NEW 2011 Design Team. For this special week, each Design Team member created a layout all about themselves. We will be updating galleries daily with new projects from the team so make sure you check their galleries often!
First up is Lecia Forrest. Here is a little bit about Lecia in her own words:
I have been creative and passionate about art since I was able to hold a crayon. Constantly drawing on walls and signing my little sisters name to the artwork, I’ve embraced all the creativeness that scrapbooking brings. I first discovered it when I started traveling all over the world and realized I wanted to remember my experiences forever. Then I married the man of my dreams, and we had 2 boys (Riley:7, Jager:5) and a little girl (Ireland: almost 3). Now you will find me embracing the life of a mommy while still teaching locally and traveling internationally teaching scrapbooking and altered art classes where you are sure to have a good time laughing and learning. I have been published in U.S. & Canadian magazines, international websites and blogs. I have also worked on design/educator teams for many of the industry’s leading manufacturers. Currently I am an endorsed educator for Tattered Angels, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L ,Vintage Street Market, Urban Swank and Core’dinations.
Check out the cool details Lecia did with the doilies! And the black accents on the edge of the cut out, shaped Basic Grey Core Impressions and My Mind’s Eye Core Impressions! Mixing and matching Core is SO much FUN!
Next up is Lydia Jackson. Here is a little bit about Lydia in her own words:
My name is Lydia Jackson and I live on the beautiful west coast of Canada, I am a SAHM, with two little boys who are my whole world. I am married to an adoring husband, who loves me, keeps me grounded and supports my addiction to paper. I love life and all it’s imperfections, and I live by and struggle with my motto, believe and anything is possible. I have been formally scrapbooking for 11 years, but I have been a crafter my whole life. I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Core-dinations design team, for me, it is a dream come true.
Check out that embossing over the photo! So cool Lydia!!!
With the Stanley Cup playoffs in full force, we thought it would be a great time to share our love of all things hockey!
Design Team Member Lydia Jackson shared this layout with us over the weekend and it is just priceless. The My Mind’s Eye Core Impressions background is perfect for this layout. Just a touch of sanding around the edges is awesome and just enough to show off that gorgeous red core. Lydia accents that red in small areas throughout the layout, too. And pair it with some neutrals & a touch of blue from the Core Essential line and voila!
We would love to see what you can do with your Black Magic Core Impressions!
Have a gReAt week!
This week we are celebrating Fathers and Family here on the blog!
We are kicking it off with two layouts from Debbie Standard. Debbie packs her layouts FULL of amazing details so grab your coffee and be ready to get inspired!
For this first layout, Debbie sanded a sheet of My Mind’s Eye Core Impressions. It looks beautiful with the bright blue embossed Core Essentials. And check out the fun details from the 4×6″ mini My Mind’s Eye collection pack! They go perfectly together. And of course those fun photos of the kids playing around with their Dad. They just make you smile!
Next up, Debbie shares with us another layout about family. For this layout Debbie scored her Whitewash background . Such an easy and quick way to make your own background!
The flowers are stamped. All you need to do is turn your Core’dinations over and stamp on the backside for a nice, smooth finish.
AND…yes, there is more! Debbie printed her clouds from her computer using a digital image directly on some Whitewash and the sanded.
