Graduation is in full force right now and we wanted to share some awesome projects from our Guest Designer, Charlotte Dobson. She made the most amazing graduation projects for us.

Boy did we have fun last week! Thank you, thank you for all of your wonderful comments. Reading them was a lot of fun and we enjoy your feedback. We will post a winner tomorrow of the wonderful give-a-way so stay tuned for that.

Well, there is no other way to kick of National Scrapbooking Weekend than with a great layout that we spotted this past week from Suzanna Lee.

The color combo on this layout is striking. Suzanna did just a touch of sanding and some really cool yellow inking. And the Core Impression Cardstock just looks so great against this fab color scheme.

Today we wanted to share with you an adorable Easter card from Rebecca Keppel. she used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder to create this great pattern and then just added a touch of sanding. Just a perfect way to end the week and begin a wonderful Holiday weekend.

I just love the look of Susan Stringfellow’s layout with Core’dinations Cardstock. She uses a cool technique with her Quickutz where she embosses the corners and edges of the layout AND she uses her Cuttlebug Folders! Now that is thinking outside the box! Core’dinations is just the best cardstock to reach for your Holiday projects. I love how you can turn a simple card with some layers and sanding into a gorgeous creation like Lydia Jackson did here:

The green core looks gorgeous against the Whitewash.

Today we are sharing a fun layout from Kim Crawford.

We just love how she used the images of the apples on this layout. The Chocolate Box cardstock is perfect for this Apple Picking Theme!

Here is what Kim shared about her technique:
I used the new limited edition Spellbinders die templates, “Nested Apples” underneath the cardstock and sanded away the cardstock to bring out the core color.

We are heading back to the basics with Core Essentials Cardstock this week. The Core Essentials Cardstock is perfect for any project. Even though it’s fun to emboss and sand the to the core of our Black Magic and Chocolate Box cardstocks, don’t forget how great Core’dinations Cardstock can be for the essential cardstock on any project.

Debbie Standard created this layout with just the basics. By just using different shades of blue Core Essentials and some Whitewash, she created depth and movement on this gorgeous page!
