Happy Friday!

Who is having fun with SCOR PAL?????????? We are!   Do you have a Scor-Pal?  Well, if you are a paper craft you better. AND if you love Core, then  you BETTER! Scoring, then sanding with Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock is the only way to go.

Scoring raises the cardstock so you can sand it and release that inner Core. It’s gorgeous AND both design teams are going to show you easy and fabulous ways the Scor Pal products and Core’dinations can add interested to your papercrafting projects.

They SIMPLY rockYou know we always have something up our sleeve for you when we do these fun blog events so keep commenting for a chance to win some great Core’dinations Cardstock!

Today we have Design Team Lydia Jackson with the CUTEST CARD EVER! Can you tell we love the Scor-Bug Embosser??? It fits right in the grooves of your Scor-Pal and gives it tiny little bumps that look like dots. Sand them and you  have such a cool design.

Lydia layered her tree on a Zigzag  Edge  in the Glitter Silk (very much like a postage stamp shape) (Step 2 Layer from the David Tutera Cardmaking System.

And a close-up! How cool is this?  You can make any design you want!

Eeeek! Add some Queen & Co bling and you are good to go!

Today we are all about Vintage with Designer Andrea Amu! Here is a little bit about her card:

I used all Tim Holtz Kraft Core here.
Scor-Pal product used includes the Score-Bug tool that I used to create a design of perforations for the blue background, and the 1/4″ score tape that I used to add the red torn edge strip to the card base’s right side edge.  I used the Sand It Gadget to sand over all of the Kraft Core’s scored surface and the torn edge to reveal more of the Kraft color and to add to the worn vintage distressed look.  My cuts were done using the Ashlyn’s Alphabet Cricut cartridge and the ornate tree die cut was embellished with some Diamond Dust glass glitter and Queen & Co. Bling pearls.
And a close up of that cool detail from the Scor Bug!
Don’t forget!   We are sponsoring DAY THREE of  Scrapbook & Cards today’s 12 Days of giveaways. You have until NOON Dec 22nd 2012 to post on their blog HEREto win ONE EACH of our 6×6 collection packs!

First up we have important giveaway information. We are sponsoring DAY THREE of  Scrapbook & Cards today’s 12 Days of giveaways. You have until NOON Dec 22nd 2012 to post on their blog HERE to win ONE EACH of our 6×6 collection packs!

If you were here earlier then you know we are having a super fun week with SCOR PAL. Do you have one of these?  Well, if you are a paper craft you better. AND if you love Core, then  you BETTER! Scoring, then sanding with Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock is the only way to go.

Today we have some gorgeous designs from Designer Shaunte Wadley. She created this beautiful flower on the card just by using some simple scoring. The flower is a Lifestyle Crafts die so you could really do this with any flower.

See how Shaunte scores from the back?  That is important so the raised line is on the front of the cardstock. Especially when you are sanding.

And a close-up of it on the card. Keep in mind sanding the Gemstones will take off the shine so you may not want to sand it.

AND Shaunte  created her frame on this card by scoring and using the VERY FUN Scor Bug Embosser!!! It makes these fun dots that look so great sanded.

AND she scored the woodgrain on the branch using some Vintage Cardstock. So you can see all the really amazing details you can get on your projects just by scoring and sanding. The base of the card is Whitewash.

And another card for you from Shaunte using Core Essentials and loads of scoring.

Bling is from Queen & Co and Ribbon is from May Arts.

We shoot….

WE SCOR!

Oh gosh, sorry. I might have been typing this during Sunday night football! But you know how we get excited about Core’dinations here and when there are tools out there that enhance all the great things you can do with it, I gotta shout it from the rooftops!

So, I guess the cat is out of the bag and you know we are having a super fun week with SCOR PAL. Do you have one of these?  Well, if you are a paper craft you better. AND if you love Core, then  you BETTER! Scoring, then sanding with Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock is the only way to go.

So let’s see what Designer Char Dobson has in store for us today…

Start by cutting a piece of cardstock 8.5″ x 4.5″. Scor at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″ (these are what the dots on your Scor-Pal are for). You can make gate fold cards in any size you want, just gauge them by the pre-measured lines on the Scor-Pal.

PLEASE NOTE:  This is the older version of the Scor Pal and that the newer one has 1/4″ score marks and 1/8″ marks at each end.

I like bling, so I added a little sparkle to my already shimmery Gemstones cardstock by inking and glittering my embossing folder before running the paper through my Cuttlebug. This is a little messy – but the end product is gorgeous! Nothing a little soap and water can’t handle, right?
Glitter is from  Stampendous and ink is ColorBox.
Now emboss it and the ink and glitter will adhere to the card.
And the inside is super easy. Just add your own sentiment, stamping..whatever you want to include…it’s that easy!
Simply adhere some chipboard and finish off with a little bit of bling there as well!
And want to see the magic of creating your own patterns with the Scor -Pal and Core’dinations? It’s so easy!
Remember…you have to start from the BACK so the raised part of the carstock is on the front.
So…Scor…Sand…and you can have THIS!
Designer Debbie Standard with will have more designs for us tomorrow!
Loving this sentiment tag???  It’s from David Tutera!! So easy and elegant, don’t you think?

Stay tuned later today for our Hard Core Crop WINNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Tuesday!
