Happy Monday Morning! yes, you heard me. We have another day today with Helmar.
So, this post was supposed to go live Saturday, I just didn’t hit “schedule”. I must have just hit “save” instead so sorry about that! These things happen when you try and blog before the correct amount of coffee necessary to function.
Designer April Derrick created that shows off her love of Zap Dots and the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. It works great on wood embellishments which always seem to need a little extra “umph” to stick since they are a bit heavier.
And check out that coverage with the misting on the Tim Holtz Kraft Core! Love it….AND that embossed chevron strop along the bottom is a piece of Tim Holtz Kraft Core Cut and emboss 2.5″x 12″. They fit the 12″ Sizzix embossing folders perfectly!!!!

Welcome to our Third Day of our week with Stampendous! We couldn’t be more excited than to share gorgeous projects with you featuring Core’dinations and Stamendous products all week long!
We love Stampendous and their products so make sure you do a few things for us while you are here this week.
And we have a blog hop for you, too!
Oh..we promised some winners…RIGHT? Well……………
come on down!
Winners email email@example.com with the subject line reading the contest you won, For Example: March Color Challenge Winner. Also include in the body of the email your name, address, and phone number (only if international). We will send you a confirmation back that we received your email so you know your prize will be on it’s way soon! We ship prizes to our lucky winners twice a month once we receive all prize winner’s information.
Here is a list to hop along…make sure you do as we are giving away prizes ALL WEEK LONG for those that are commenting and having fun.
And of course…our blog! And for inspiration here today, we have a project from Design Team Member Shaunte Wadley. She created the most beautiful card for us today!
Did you know that with our Core Tags you can pop out the silver grommet? So..if you want to emboss it…PERFECT! Or if you want to flip your tag over and use the smooth side to stamp…YOU CAN! And if you are working with some FAB-u-Lous embossing powders like we are from Stampendous then you are in luck. OH! And don’t forget the beautiful Stampendous sentiment stamp using the Cling Flower Path stamp:
And another gorgeous detail….
Sorry we are a bit late with our post today but we have been busy!
I organized all of the address and prizes today so we are are good to go! Hard Core Prizes should ship within the next week so be on the look out for those.
And don’t forget about our Design Team Call for Cardmakers! You DO NOT want to miss this!!!
Core’dinations is so generous and our team is THE BEST. They create such cool projects like this one that Design Team Member Shaunte Wadley created for us today for our Tuesday Tutorial. If you love Tim Holtz KRaft Core than this is the one for you.
First up, run a die through your cutting machine. It doesn’t have to be a twelve inch die…this technique will work with any size die. BUT we do have this FABULOUS 2.25″x12″ Sizzix/Tim Holtz Kraft Core that is the PERFECT size to do use your 12″ dies!
The key is using the same cardstock as the base as seen here.
Now sand. Make sure you use your Sand It Gadget!
See how they “match”. By sanding both the base and the die and then layering them, you are creating dimension.
Now adhere the layers and you can see how they look embossed!
Dies are from Lifestyle Crafts.
