And we have some MUST haves for you scrapbooking.
First, our Tim Holtz Kraft Core Seasonal Impressions shown here from Designer Debbie Standard:
I love when the season is one that works with Tim Holtz Seasonal Impressions cardstock – it makes the page so easy to do. For this page I started with sanding the entire sheet. Then I inked the outside design and some of the words with Tim Holtz Ink. Then I shielded the middle of the sheet and sprayed the edges again with Ranger Dylusions Pure Sunshine spray. Then I embossed a sheet of Tim Holtz Adirondack cardstock and sanded it and layered it over a sheet of patterned paper from Graphic 45′s French County collection.

AND … we have another gorgeous gorgeous creation using our SECOND must have for Halloween projects…..BLACK MAGIC
Chalkboard is all the rage currently and what better product than Core to create your own embellishments and layouts! Especially Black Magic!! For a “grungier” chalkboard look, that look as if the blackboard has been used, be sure to rub your chalk (yes, real chalk), lightly on the Nightfall cardstock before decorating. I have used 4 different chalkboard effects here to create this layout; 1.) white pencil on paper (my title, Carved), 2.) Die cut or punched objects with sanded edges (bat and numbers), 3.) white powder embossed stamps and 4.) embossed Black Magic which is sanded to show color for a pop of color.
HOW COOL! Suzzana used some of her own chalk skills on here AND did some simple sanding on the star. SO COOL!

Hi Everyone..what a gorgeous day to get ready for Christmas
. What?!? Yes…for the next two days we are working the Heidi Swapp Believe
collection. In this pack you get 48 sheets of pure Holiday magic! Our team made some cool projects today that will get you ready for the Holidays for sure.
But first..giveaways…we can’t forget about those!
First up Heidi Swapp is giving away the ENTIRE line of Mixed Company on her Facebook page so head over there to say HI and win! Make sure you check out the Heidi Swapp blog for projects today, too!
We have a giveaway on our Facebook page HERE as well and on the blog yesterday (keep in mind the blog giveaway ends tonight so don’t delay!)
Hello! Jill from Every Day is an Occasion here to share a double sided magnetic board with you today. I love making these magnetic boards because they are super fun to hold pictures I print from Instagram.
Double Sided Magnetic Board
This summer I was fortunate enough to go to CHA and while I was there a must-do on my list was meet Heidi Swapp. To showcase my holiday photos this season I made a magnetic board. It’s super easy and quite festive.
To create this magnetic board I used Heidi’s Believe 12×12 paper pack and Core’dinations Tim Holtz Seasonal Impressions.
The 4 small magnets are made using Heidi Swapp’s 12 x12 Believe paper pack and the Epiphany Crafts 25 Round tool. The bow is actually a magnet , too! You can get little magnets at your local craft store and you can get full sheets, too, so you can cut them any size you want. The bow is Core’s Tim Holtz Seasonal Impressions paper and cut from my Silhouette. EASY!
Just cover the magnets with patterned paper after you cut them with the Epiphany Crafts round tool so they will “stick” to the back. This way you can change photos or even make a Christmas countdown. So many possibilities with this easy project.

Next up Gail Linder…I am so making this, too!
I took advantage of the super cute number patterned paper, appropriately called Countdown, and punched out the number 1 to 25 to create a countdown to Christmas using an embroidery hoop as my “frame”! It was so easy to coordinate Core’dinations cardstock with the Heidi Swapp ‘Believe’ collection. I embossed and sanded my cardstock to match it to the distressed look of the patterned paper!
I can’t wait to create more of these for a little cluster of frames to hang up at Christmas time!

First up we have a layout from Designer Kate Nolan-Denham:
Halloween is one of my favorite times of year! Definitely a time to for me to be imaginative and have fun. The Halloween layout I am sharing today shows a fun way to use Core’dinations Kraft-Core Seasonal Impressions as a fantastic background.
To make the words POP on the background, I not-so-gently sanded all the words on the Halloween Seasonal Impressions Cardstock and theen added some chalk. I really wanted the Kraft-Core to absorb the color in the orange and blue Chalking Inks so giving it a good sanding is the key.
The title work was super easy! I cut the title out of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Black Magic with my Cricut and then sanded it like crazy so the blue background would play on the title.
Next time you are creating a seasonal layout grab some of the Kraft-Core Seasonal Impressions!

And next up we have card from Designer Clare Buswell:
Love this card? Here is how Clare did it:
Make cardbase from cardstock. Emboss Black Magic cardstock, sand using Sand-It Gadget and wipe with Dust Buddy. Ink edges using Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink, adhere to card and round bottom corners. Add patterned paper (Authentique Thrilling Collection) panel and adhere sticker stitches. Add ribbon, bow and twine. Adhere Authentique Thrilling Collection stickers to cardstock, ink edges and fussy cut, attach to card using foam pads. Adhere flower, enamel dot and broom, to finish.
Authentique Thrilling Collection, Distress Inks (Ripe Persimmon, Antique Linen, Scattered Straw), SRM Stickers – Sticker Stitches, Cuttlebug Anna Griffin Reflected Damask, Big Shot, flower from Wild Orchid Crafts, black seam binding, tinsel twine, broom embellishment, corner rounder, enamel dot, foam pads.
And next up we have a super simple card from Debbie Standard. All she did was emboss two colors of cardstock with two different folders and then added an EK Success sticker. And don’t forget that May Arts ribbon…it’s actually cord that is PERFECT for Halloween with the black, orange and purple!

EEEEEK! I love Halloween so much I can’t stand it! So over the next few weeks we will be showcasing some Halloween projects for you. First up we have Ava Gavloski working her Core magic Halloween style
AND Ava totally works the Core Cuts. She used one of the diecuts from the Core Cuts pack, folded it in half and made a card out of it! BRILLIANT!
Tis the season of pumpkins and witches! This card was such a treat (no pun intended) to design. The Core’dinations Shazam Black Magic inner core, jumps from the Black magic collection. PERFECT for all you Halloween projects.
Take a close look at how crisp the sanded scrolls of orange vibrantly pop from the matted black texture of the core’dinations cardstock.
Now add a card base from the bold core cuts collection and you have a striking card to share with family and friends during this Halloween season.
How magical are the Imaginisce glam rocks on this blackboard feel presentation? Top off your cards with a bit of May Arts ribbon and you have the upscale look of fashion on your cards.

Tis the season upon us and what better way to celebrate and encourage the spirit of Halloween with some Halloween pictures which showcase Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Nostalgic cardstock collection. This layout came together so easy with the Nostalgic cardstock collection.
The colors are so festive. Sanding this kraft core give so much texture to the layout.
I have made a second page to complement the layout with a large pocket with tag’s, so that additional photo’s can be included.
I added a bit of coloured raffia and some Authentique pattern papers to bring out some color from the photo and all the elements showcase the happiness of the photo so well.

What a great day…the sun is shining…only a few more days until Friday…what more can we ask for? WELL, Designer Debbie Standard has some layouts for you today.
This layout brought a smile to my face today. First up the Cosmo Cricket Woodgrain background…and the colors…yellow…gray…and that pop of red are just awesome! Oh and you cannot forget about the Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Seasonal Impressions. Debbie hand cut those details for her title and subtitles.
And how cute is this??? Debbie was inspired by all the sunburst layouts she has been seeing on Pinterest. SPEAKING of Pinterest…make sure you follow us on our page HERE! What a great way to use up those scraps of Core you have in your bin. AND all those lush embossed (and sanded of course!) designs are gorgeous, gorgeous!
Debbie cut, embossed and sanded each section and then created the sunburst effect along the top. Then she added the Stacy Julian Core Impressions pre-embossed words along the side. Then she added some clouds that she die cut using the Whitewash collection which makes really great clouds by the way because you can lightly sand them and bring out the blue tones.
