Tuesday Tip from Designer Leica Forrest

Let’s take it off the page, everyone!

Leica is here today with a fun mini album using loads of Authentique Papers and Vintage Core’dinations. Love all the little accents Leica adds like the doodling along the edges.

Check out all these gorgeous layers and the embossing and sanding on that Vintage Core!

And some inside pages. Tim Holtz’s Sizzix Embossing folders are just the perfect accent. See  how it embosses the journal lines for you? Add a little ink like Leica did here and voila! Looks great with the colored ink on the white Core Essentials Cardstock.

The sun is shining…vacations are happening…AND it’s baseball season!!!

Isn’t this the cutest little guy you’ve ever seen?  Design Team Member Debbie Standard used loads of Bella Blvd goodies on here in addition to some Vintage Core Cardstock (base) and Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions (Dots)  and a fabulous Core tag!

And how much do you love that star?  They are so so easy to make. Cut out a star with any kind of diecutting machine or even free hand it. Then turn it over and score from point to point and then sand the front! Remember to always scor from the back so the raised image is on the front to sand. Shaunte uses a GREAT mix of Stacy Julian Core impressions {how much do you LOVE that yellow!!!!}, Vintage and Core Tags.

Love the scor’d frame on the Tim Holtz-Kraft Core.

The Vintage cardstock  makes a GREAT football, doesn’t it?!  And Shaunte really worked that very cool Bella Blvd. decorative tape along the bottom.

She used the twill stripes…cotton stripes…mesh ribbon and it all core’dinates beautifully with our cardstock. Char used carstock from the Darks Collection pack, Vintage and Spotted collections.

And Char also created this gorgeous card….LOVE the ribbon on cards and check out the fun loopty loops along the bottom!

GOOD Morning! Thursday already??? That means only a few more days of Authentique.

And Debbie Standard. Love how Debbie mounted her card on the darker, brown cardstock. And she used some fun accents with her Spellbinder’s Dies and May Arts ribbon.

More Mother’s Day Celebrations

Today we have a beautiful layout from Design Team Member Debbie Standard about her mother. This layout just captures the spirit of the celebration of mothers and all they mean to us.

Debbie used Tim Holtz Kraft-Core and sanded it and then smeared some  ink as her background. Debbie always uses punches and such neat finishing touches to her layouts for amazing details.

Debbie also created a card that would be perfect for anyone in your life. The color combo is gorgeous and the mix of embossing folders rocks! Don’t be afraid to mix geometric patterns like Debbie did on this card …looks fabulous!  Especially the pop of teal in the Vintage cardstock against the Core Essentials and how she matted each piece with red. See…it’s in the details!

Colour Lover’s Inspiration Palette
